In order to expand the scope of services, save customers' time and costs, and reduce service concentration, the residence permit for foreign citizens issued by the Mongolian Immigration Bureau will be processed at the one-stop service center for foreign citizens. From February 7, 2024, the residence permit for foreign citizens will be available here. If the request for a new residence permit, renewal, change of form, type, invitation letter or re-acquisition of an inviting citizen or business is approved, a notification will be sent to the applicant's registered e-mail address, which will be available to collect the citizen's residence permit at the service center.
Foreign citizens, invited citizens, and enterprises shall present the original and photocopy of valid certificates when collecting printouts of residence permits.
The administrative personnel and authorized personnel of enterprises, organizations and legal persons shall bring their valid documents, and if there is a formal request or power of attorney when applying for a residence permit, they shall bring a copy of the person with the power of attorney and their valid certificates.
The new application process is all online, and you only need to go to the service center once when you pick it up.
