The Kuomintang Taiwan legislature caucus today (30th) completed the ceremony of the new general call and secretary general, and the meeting approved Fu Laiqing as the new party caucus general call, Hong Mengkai as the party secretary general, and Lin Siming as the chief deputy secretary of the party caucus. Huang Jianting, secretary general of the Kuomintang, Zeng Mingzong, a representative of the Democratic People's Republic of China, who will be called the head of the party caucus, and Han Kuo-yu, the elected representative of the Kuomintang without division, were all present, and Zhu Lilun, chairman of the Kuomintang, was also present to greet the representative of the People's Republic of China.
Since Lai Shih-pao, the representative of the Kuomintang, had already decided to withdraw from the general election, the Kuomintang representatives present passed by acclamation that Fu Laiqing, the representative of the Kuomintang, was appointed as the new general call of the party caucus. Hong Mengkai and Lin Siming, who registered to run for secretary general, also completed coordination, with Hong Mengkai serving as secretary general of the party caucus during the new session, and Lin Siming serving as chief deputy secretary. Secretary-General Huang Jianting expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their willingness to be courteous and to be able to focus on the unity and overall situation of the party caucus, and also hoped that the party caucus of the current Taiwan legislature could give full play to its combat effectiveness.
Huang Jianting also bluntly said that the next four years Taiwan's legislature will be the most important battlefield, and now the Kuomintang is the moment when it can give full play to its combat power. In addition, he also thanked Zeng Mingzong for his efforts in the past, and the new party caucus chief Fu Laiqing said that the Kuomintang in the 10th Taiwan legislature is a minority party, but Zeng Mingzong really lived up to the trust, fought to the end, and was quite moving.
Fu Laiqing said that the first party caucus meeting of the Kuomintang caucus clearly supported Han Kuo-yu as the next head of the Taiwan legislature and Jiang Qichen as the deputy head of the Taiwan legislature.
Fu Laiying said that they have completed all the preparations and asked for votes, which is not only a personal glory, but also the dignity of Taiwan's legislature, so every member of the Kuomintang caucus will attend, and failure to attend will be regarded as running a ticket, and will be punished with the strictest party discipline, which has also been unanimously agreed by everyone, because this is the glory of the group.
Fu Lai-ying went on to say that the reform of Taiwan's legislature brooks no delay, and this is a matter of greatest concern to the people of Taiwan; in the past eight years, the results of Taiwan's legislature's deliberations have not been effective, and so many "ministries and committees" have been corrupt and bent the law. He wants to tell the Taiwan legislature that it has officially stood up, and that it will not allow the dark side of the past to be covered, and that the sun will surely shine into the new Taiwan legislature, so that all the corruption of the heads of the "ministries and commissions" will be completely hidden.
