In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the mobilization and deployment meeting for the winter military training activities, achieve the winter training goal of all basic physical fitness standards and full coverage of swimming skills, and further strengthen the water emergency rescue capability, recently, the Dayangshu Brigade of the Daxinganling Forest Fire Protection Detachment in Inner Mongolia relied on the resident swimming pool to carry out swimming skills training.
Swimming is not only a basic skill for water rescue, but also an efficient training subject to enhance the team's rescue ability and strengthen and improve physical fitness. Before training, the brigade combined the swimming level of each team member, scientifically coordinated and reasonably grouped to ensure that the training was solid and effective. The basic swimming style, breaststroke, freestyle and other professional knowledge were explained and demonstrated on the spot, and the essentials of swimming were explained in detail, and how to quickly familiarize themselves with swimming skills such as water, breath-holding and ventilation, and diving.
During the training, all the fire and rescue personnel were full of energy, devoted themselves to training, strictly standardized the movements of comrades with a good foundation, moderately increased the swimming distance, and strengthened teaching in all aspects of action essentials and skills; For comrades with a poor swimming foundation, we should start with basic training, carry out adaptive training, gradually familiarize themselves with the nature of the water, gradually consolidate and improve in an orderly manner, and gradually overcome the difficult problems existing in the training. All the participants carefully studied the essentials of each action, and the training atmosphere was very strong.
Through swimming training, the participating fire and rescue personnel have all mastered the basic movements of swimming, and their swimming skills have improved significantly. In the next step, the brigade will continue to do a good job in the follow-up water rescue skills training, so as to lay a solid foundation for the successful completion of the water emergency rescue mission.
