On February 5, Professor Zhao Haoxing, Dean of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Research Institute of Zhejiang Gongshang University and founder of China-Africa Bridge, and his team members visited Made-in-China Focus Technology Hangzhou Company and Starlink Automobile Headquarters. Wang Hanming, general manager of Hangzhou Focus Internet Information Technology, and Han Chengdong, CEO of Starlink Automobile, warmly welcomed the visit of Professor Zhao's team. Zhou Xiaofei, Executive President of China-Africa Bridge and Vice President of the Research Institute, and Gong Dongdong, Director of the Government and Enterprise Department, accompanied the inspection.

In 2023, China will export 4.91 million vehicles, becoming the world's largest automobile exporter for the first time. Ranking first in the world, it marks that the globalization of China's automobile industry has taken a key step. For the majority of Chinese car companies, it is an opportunity and a challenge.

Professor Zhao Haoxing said that China-Africa Bridge, as a professional service body for China-Africa foreign trade, makes full use of digital business technology and rich experts and foreign trade resources to escort car companies going overseas. The China-Africa Bridge and the Made-in-China Network have many complementarities, and the linkage between the two sides will provide better market services.

General Manager Wang Hanming introduced the Made-in-China Network (MIC) international station, which was founded in 1998 and developed and operated by Focus Technology Co., Ltd. As a comprehensive platform for full-link foreign trade services, Made-in-China is committed to tapping global business opportunities for Chinese businessmen and overseas buyers, and providing one-stop foreign trade services for both sides to achieve international excellence. MIC International Station launched the "New Energy Navigation Assistance Plan" to provide new energy vehicle companies with full-process vehicle export services such as overseas marketing, business opportunity acquisition, export compliance, international logistics, export tax rebates, cross-border funds and security transaction guarantees.

Han Chengdong, President of Starlink Automobile, introduced the company's current development status and long-term planning. He believes that at present, China's second-hand car exports have formed a complete business chain and have a very broad space for development, but it is also facing problems such as talent shortage, logistics, heavy capital investment, and insufficient customer acquisition capacity for international business, so it is necessary to develop the African market through online and offline dual channels. Mr. Han said that Starlink is willing to work closely with China-Africa Bridge to expand the vast new market. Carlinks' integrated services and chain operations will provide international network services for car companies and help more car companies do export business.

Professor Zhao Haoxing emphasized the importance of cultivating overseas operation talents, and the resources accumulated by China-Africa Bridge over the years will provide local talents for car companies, find partners, and jointly train young makers and after-sales service teams. China-Africa Bridge is willing to work with Starlink Automobile and Made-in-China Network and partners to give full play to the power of the think tank of the university research institute, provide professional reports, market insights, hold second-hand car export forums, and assist in the first chain of financial services. All parties work together to provide systematic solutions for Chinese automobiles to go overseas in Africa.
