The Changsha South High-speed Railway Works Section and the Changsha Public Works Section carried out a comprehensive cleaning of the line turnouts and applied antifreeze oil to the sliding bed board to prevent the turnouts from freezing and jamming again. Changsha Fangjian Apartment Section actively does a good job in the equipment maintenance of the air conditioning system of the station in the tube to ensure the safe operation of the air conditioning equipment.

In order to ensure the safety of train operation, the Guangzhou EMU depot uses the skylight point to run 36 EMUs to carry out "hot sliding" on the catenary. In 11 cities, including Lanzhou, Xi'an, Yinchuan and Wuhan, emergency personnel were arranged to be stationed to clean up the ice and snow attached to the running part of the EMU in a timely manner.

The Changsha Locomotive Depot sent additional personnel to the Yueyang maintenance depot, which was greatly affected by the heavy snowfall, to use high-temperature spray guns to de-ice and snow all vehicles, restore the normal operation of the pantograph, and ensure the normal operation of the locomotive.

Stations involving delays, such as Guangzhou South, Shenzhen North, Guangzhou, Guangzhou Baiyun, Changsha South and other stations, have opened additional refund and change windows to facilitate passengers to handle business, and additional young volunteers will be dispatched to provide consultation and guidance services for passengers at station service desks, ticket gates, ticket halls and other positions. The station is fully stocked with mineral water, eight-treasure porridge and other emergency supplies, which are distributed to late passengers in time to provide logistical support.
