It's too late to regret it! Foxconn continued to increase its weight, and Terry Gou gave a profound lesson
Foxconn continues to develop strongly, and now it is too late to regret it. Terry Gou taught us a lesson!
Many people know that Foxconn intends to relocate the factory to the mainland. Especially in the past three years, due to the advent of the special period, Foxconn's business conditions have been poor, and last year's market research turmoil made Foxconn difficult, so Foxconn has stepped up the pace of building factories in India, Vietnam and other places.
For example, in December last year, Foxconn announced that it would invest more than 10 billion yuan in a new factory in India; In March, Foxconn announced that it would invest 700 million yuan to build a new factory in India. All in all, over the past two years, Foxconn has become increasingly inclined to reduce its mainland production capacity and shift more orders overseas.
It's not just Foxconn, some time ago, a few years ago, foreign companies like Apple and Samsung moved their production lines to the mainland. Among them, in addition to the factor of labor costs in the mainland, the most important thing is the change in the external environment, which prompts foreign-funded enterprises to seek a stable withdrawal.
Some time ago, Foxconn made further efforts, announcing an investment of 37.2 million yuan in a chip packaging and testing company in India.
Generally speaking, packaging and testing have high labor requirements and high profits, so in general, packaging and testing are carried out inland, so as to ensure the quality of the product. However, Gou's decision to work with an Indian company was certainly not just due to cost.
Frankly speaking, in the current environment, foreign companies like Foxconn have been transferring production capacity, and the pressure on the common people can be imagined. In particular, many families are still burdened with heavy debts such as mortgages and car loans, and their lives can change dramatically once the factories no longer need these workers.
In addition, the impact of the transfer of foreign-funded enterprises on China's economic development cannot be ignored. For example, Foxconn, only one Foxconn plant in Zhengzhou, will have a GDP of 1,172 in 2022800 million yuan, almost two-thirds of Henan's GDP, thanks to Foxconn's loans. At the same time, Foxconn has taken root in Zhengzhou, driving the surrounding factories of all sizes to settle in, among which Zhengzhou Foxconn is the most, Zhengzhou's economy almost depends on Foxconn.
But unfortunately, although we all know how important Foxconn is to the domestic economy, we still regret that Foxconn made such a decision. Frankly speaking, Gou's approach this time is indeed a lesson, if Foxconn and other foreign-funded companies cannot follow the previous development model, it will become normal.
Over the past 30 years or so, our rapid economic development has been due to our persistence in taking economic construction as the center, attaching importance to private enterprises, respecting foreign investment, and protecting foreign investment, which has made brilliant achievements in the past 30 years. But if we turn to the other path, then all the glorious achievements of the past will become history, and the achievements that have been made will be lost.
In short, in the past ten years, Chinese have lived a life without food and clothing. When you're full, stop messing around and go back to your old place. What do you think?
