On January 10, after 28 hours of uninterrupted construction, the No. 9 main pier of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway (hereinafter referred to as the "Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway") was successfully poured, completing another important node of its construction.

Nanchong Jialing River Bridge is a control project of the whole line, and it is also the most difficult bridge to construct the whole line. The total length of the bridge is about 6,225 meters, and the main bridge adopts a low-tower steel mixed beam cable-stayed bridge, with a main span of 328 meters, ranking first in the world in the low-tower cable-stayed bridge of the double-track high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
The No. 0 block that has been poured this time is located on the No. 9 main pier and is 18 years long2 meters, width 16 meters, height 175 meters, the amount of concrete is about 3,000 square meters, and the weight is 7,500 tons. The entire pouring was completed in two phases, with a cumulative pouring time of 68 hours. In order to ensure the quality of construction, the construction unit made overall arrangements for concrete production and transportation, installed 12 distribution pipes on the zero block in advance, and specially monitored the concrete vibration, strictly controlled the uniform and layered pouring of concrete, and ensured the smooth progress of long-term uninterrupted pouring.
Block zero is the core beam section of the main girder of the bridge, and its construction is an important node in the construction of the long-span cable-stayed bridge. Jiang Lin, chief engineer of Sichuan Road and Bridge Chengdawan High-speed Railway Project Headquarters, introduced that the main pier is the main tower upwards and the main beam laterally, and the zero block is the midpoint of the intersection of the "ten", which is the first unit to be poured during the construction of the bridge section, which is equivalent to a starting point.
The completion of the pouring of the zero block represents the conversion of the operation link of the Nanchong Jialing River Bridge from the substructure to the superstructure, and next, the builder will take the zero block as the starting point, use the hanging basket construction to pour the beam on both sides, and at the same time construct the main tower upward. Jiang Lin said that this year it is planned to complete the pouring of the whole bridge body 80, the main tower will be capped in September, and the bridge is expected to be closed in September 2025.

Up to now, 882 construction sites have been started on the Chengdawan high-speed railway, with an operating rate of 842%。Li Shengping, commander of the Suining Headquarters of Chengdawan High-speed Railway Company, said that the important node of "the most difficult bridge to build on the whole line" has greatly boosted morale and inspired confidence, and the construction of Chengdawan high-speed railway will continue to be efficient and high-quality this year, and 114 of the 133 tunnels on the whole line are planned to be completed, accounting for more than 85%.
With a total length of 477 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, the main line of Chengdu-Dawan high-speed railway will connect Chengdu, Nanchong, Dazhou and Wanzhou in Chongqing in Sichuan after completion, forming a fast and convenient important passage from Sichuan to the east, and will shorten from the provincial capital Chengdu to Dazhou, the easternmost part of Sichuan Province, from the current nearly 3 hours to more than 1 hour, further promoting the construction and integrated development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
As an important part of the "Yangtze River Channel" in the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, the Chengdu-Dawan high-speed railway will also be connected to the existing Zhengyu high-speed railway, forming a convenient passenger transport channel from Chengdu to the Central Plains and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, which will greatly facilitate the travel of the people along the line and promote the economic and social development along the line.
