At about 5 o'clock in the morning of April 24, 1941, General Xie Jinyuan was assassinated by a traitor from his subordinates in the lonely military camp in Shanghai, and unfortunately died in the country.
At eight o'clock on May 10 of the same year, all walks of life in the capital held a memorial meeting for the head of the regiment Xie in the auditorium of the New Life Sports Service Center, Chongqing was still attacked by Japanese planes on the same day, and the air defense red ball representing the approaching enemy aircraft was hung high, but the participants still amounted to more than 700 people. On behalf of the officers and men of the division, Peng Yi, commander of the 88th Division of the Army, inscribed:
led 800 lonely troops to guard the Sixing warehouse, and wrote a national history with brave loyalty.

At seven o'clock in the evening of the same day, the people of the capital held a public memorial for the head of the regiment in the square of the Xinyun Model District of Confucius Pond, with more than 2,000 people present, chaired by General Huang Renlin, and then reported by Ms. Yang Huimin on the four lines of the warehouse to present the flag, and ** 800 heroes film, in remembrance.
