In the 70s, after the armistice between Korea, inter-Korean relations gradually thawed. South Korea went through a period of military-run rule, and it was not until the 80s that there was hope for democratization.
In order to change its international image and enhance its status, South Korea has gone all out to win the right to host the Olympic Games. Eventually, South Korea's efforts led to the successful hosting of the 1988 Summer Olympics.
Figure 1: While the world was celebrating the Olympic Games, South Korea was struck by a tragedy that shocked the world. On November 29, 1987, a plane flying from Baghdad airport in Iraq to Seoul, South Korea, crashed over the sea of Amman, Myanmar**, killing all 104 passengers and 11 airport staff.
After receiving this news, the South Korean side initially appeared cautious in judging the cause of the killing. However, as the wreckage of the plane continued to be recovered, it was confirmed that the plane had been bombed, so it may have been among the crew or passengers.
This incident has turned the world's attention to South Korea and has become the focus of global attention.
At the same moment in Figure 2, Bahrain suddenly received shocking news: a Japanese father and daughter who were about to leave Bahrain were seized on suspicion of using fake passports and visas.
The father and daughter are Mayumi Bee Valley, who came to the UAE on a crashed flight a few days ago, and her father. The trajectory of their movements is very suspicious, so Bahrain airport believes that they may be related to the crash of Flight 858.
What is the true identity of the father and daughter? Are they related to the Flight 858 crash? These doubts tug at the hearts of many people. Allegedly, they were holding Japanese passports at the time, so at one point Japan suspected that they might be members of a local militant group.
Not long ago, Japan arrested the leader of a militant group who planned a terrorist attack on the Seoul Olympics in South Korea and also forged passports.
When Japan** was unable to solve the mystery, South Korea** suddenly realized the seriousness of the matter and submitted an extradition request to Bahrain. The news came that the father and daughter had been captured and that they were awaiting interrogation.
The father asked if he could smoke, and when he was allowed to do so, he naturally put the cigarette in his pocket into his mouth. Then, suddenly, he fell to the ground and died, his mouth reaping the taste of bitter almonds.
* suspects that this is a cyanide poisoning incident, and notices that her daughter Mayumi Mineya put a cigarette in her mouth, but she hesitates for a moment before being discovered by ** and forced her to spit out the chew.
After hours of resuscitation, Mayumi survived and woke up after three days in a coma. What secrets are the father and daughter hiding that need to be covered up by suicide?
On December 15, 1987, the top brass of Seoul** felt extremely nervous, and the Ministry of Security deployed strict security at various fortresses, and even imposed martial law at Gimpo International Airport.
Mayumi Minetani was held tightly by the detainees, and duct tape was attached to her mouth to prevent her from biting her tongue and committing suicide. Her appearance is haggard and melancholy, making it difficult to associate her with ***.
Figure 4 may have thought that it would have been more effective to implement a soft policy on this young ***, or that he might have been impressed by Mayumi's weak and cute appearance. South Korea's Ministry of Security and Enterprise decided to abandon the harsh interrogation methods and instead resort to a subtle and powerful psychological offensive to break down her defenses psychologically.
Therefore, the Ministry of Security and Enterprise plans to first find out the identity of this girl and the possible forces behind it. During the interrogation on December 16, Mayumi quibbled in fluent Japanese: "I'm Japanese, I don't know what a fake passport is, and the passport we used is real." ”
But when ** asked her, "Then why did you and your father Shinichi Mineya commit suicide in such an extreme way?" Faced with the sharp question, Mayumi did not respond, but was silent.
South Korea's ** has questions about Mayumi's Japanese identity, as her daily habits and accent are far from the real Japanese. Subsequently, Mayumi became more and more unable to resist the attack of **, so she said in standard Mandarin: "My name is Bai Huicui, my birthday is January 27, 1964, and I am from Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, China. ”
Shinichi Minetani is my adoptive father in China, and he is a very nice person. When I met him in Macau, I was an orphan and didn't know who my family was or if they were still alive.
Because of the necessity of life, I was forced to flee to Macau. There, Shinichi Minetani adopted me, and I followed him back to Japan. Mayumi said in tears.
When the police asked her about some details about Japan, she appeared a little vague. Although she insisted that she was Chinese, South Korea was skeptical, believing that her words were made up.
So they found someone familiar with Chinese to help translate. Through the help of this person, it was discovered that there were many doubts about Mayumi Mineya's statement. First, the question of her place of birth.
China's counties were withdrawn and cities were established in 1993, when there were no Wuchang cities, only Wuchang counties. In addition, although Mayumi is fluent in Chinese, she knows nothing about the dialect of her hometown in Tohoku.
In the end, when ** asked her about the details of her hometown, she couldn't answer either. However, despite being skeptical of Mayumi's statement, she still stands by her claims.
*Investigation is continuing to determine the authenticity of her identity and experience.
* Difficulties encountered during the interrogation of a woman suspected of being a spy. She doesn't seem to be able to get any information out of her mouth, showing a strong psychological quality. Guessed she might be from North Korea, but found out she wasn't familiar with the Korean language.
To test if she really doesn't know Korean, tell jokes in Korean and observe her reactions. While she doesn't react on the surface, she actually hides her laughter by turning on the biggest tap.
*'s next move is for her guards to communicate with her companions, with a voice just enough for Mayumi to hear. They said, "Look at her, her hands are outstretched, don't she look like the hands of a trained spy?" ”
After hearing this, Mayumi panicked, and she tried to quietly withdraw her hand, but in fact, her every movement was under the surveillance of **. So it was basically confirmed that the female spy was from North Korea.
The crux of Figure 7 is that** during the interrogation, it was discovered that Mayumi was watching a television made in North Korea"Jindalee"brand, which exposes that her true background may be North Korean.
In order to further break her psychological defenses, South Korea** adopted a reverse operation approach, being very kind to her and giving her maximum freedom. She can even be accompanied by security personnel and visit the streets of South Korea freely.
When Mayumi stood on the bustling Korean streets, she realized that the education of the past 20 years or so was completely a **, the Korean people did not live in dire straits, the streets were bustling, the shops were dazzling, the vehicles were endless, the buildings were tall, but there were no beggars in sight.
After several days of visiting, Mayumi's psychological defenses finally collapsed. On the night of December 23, 1987, to everyone's surprise, Mayumi suddenly apologized in Korean and admitted her mistake.
After Figure 8, the staff of the Safety Supervision Department got the truth: Mayumi Mineya's real identity is Kim Hyun-hee, codenamed Kim Yuhwa. And her partner who committed suicide, Li Shiyu, codenamed Kim Soon-il, is all *** from North Korea
Using their special identity, they successfully carried out the terrorist attack on Flight 858 and then successfully escaped. In her memoirs, Kim Hyun-hee described that when she received the order to blow up the plane, she felt only gratitude to her leader, believing that it was a major task.
However, now she realizes that she was just an emotionless "human bomber" at that time. On November 29, 1987, a Korean Air flight number 858 took off from Baghdad Airport in Iraq and the destination was Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, however, it was a disaster orchestrated by ***.
Flight 9 is full of South Koreans who have gone to Iraq to work, and as the end of the year is approaching, everyone hopes to go home and reunite with their families for a good year. The atmosphere in the cabin was cheerful, and everyone was chatting excitedly about family life, looking forward to the upcoming reunion.
However, everyone's joy is broken by a nervous father and daughter. The Japanese father and daughter left the plane in the middle of the flight and never returned. The flight stopped in the UAE and Thailand, but after the father and daughter went missing, the flight continued and the journey was smooth.
The plane made contact with the Bangkok airport tower and reported the flight position, but on the way to Bangkok, the plane suddenly turned into a ball of fire, killing all 115 passengers.
After learning of the plane crash, the South Korean side immediately speculated that it was caused by a malfunction, because two months ago, the plane had a "fuselage landing" incident due to a malfunction.
Figure 10 shows that the aircraft was identified as having suffered a bomb attack as the wreckage of the aircraft was recovered. Despite strict security checks, the question of how the bomb was brought on board is still an open question.
Kim Hyun-hee confessed that she and her companions had brought two disguised bombs on board. One of them was a plastic time bomb hidden inside a Panasonic RF-082 radio, 9 hours later**.
During the security check in Iraq, airport security tried to detain the battery, but the battery was eventually returned after the partner's strong request. The other is the *** bomb in the camouflage wine bottle used to amplify the ** effect.
According to the plan, the two seemingly ordinary bombs will be on the surface of the sea after they get off the plane**, so as to avoid leaving any evidence. The two bombs resulted in the loss of 115 lives.
At this point, the truth about the death of Flight 858 has been revealed. Kim Hyun-hee never thought that she would be in South Korea on the other side of the 38th parallel in her lifetime, and subverted her perception of the past ten years.
Initially, she was sentenced to death, but unexpectedly, she was pardoned soon after, sparing her death.
On January 15, 1988, South Korea held a press conference on the crash of Flight 858. At the press conference, the first results of the investigation were announced: "The plane was blown up by two bombs, the wreckage all fell into the sea, and 115 people were not survived." ”
Then, Kim Hyun-hee, the real culprit of the incident, was also brought to the scene and revealed her identity as a North Korean spy. Kim Hyun-hee hung her head and wept incessantly, confessed her crime and bowed to everyone present to apologize.
The press conference caused a global shock, but North Korea denied it. After the press conference, Kim Hyun-hee's tragic fate and endearing appearance attracted special attention from South Korean society.
Although she was the one who caused the plane** and killed 115 people**, many South Koreans showed her not hatred, but pity and pity.
There are even some civil society organizations that intercede for her, which is both ridiculous and pathetic.
Kim Hyun-hee is nothing more than an innocent victim, and the real culprit is someone else. This sentence clearly implies that North Korea is behind this **.
Kim Hyun-hee, an ordinary person who lives in the sun. She was once a woman who was involved in a spy affair, however, she finally escaped the fate of death, how did this happen?
Her story is the life of the chess piece. Kim Hyun-hee was born in 1961 to a diplomat father and a people's teacher. As a child, the family lived in Cuba and did not return to Pyongyang until she was four years old.
Kim Hyun-hee has shown outstanding talent since she was a child, and her big eyes that stand out from the crowd make her stand out. When she was in elementary school, she participated in many movies and appeared on the big screen many times.
However, Kim Hyun-hee's life changed when she was 20 years old. She was chosen to become a spy, underwent rigorous training, and was then sent on a mission to South Korea.
Her ruthlessness and excellent mobility have made her a top spy for North Korea. However, when Kim Hyun-hee was arrested by South Korea, she was used as a bargaining chip by South Korea and was exchanged for a North Korean spy.
She spent four years in prison, during which time she remained silent and did not reveal any information about her identity as a spy. However, when she was released, the international ** strongly demanded that North Korea **pardon her, because she was the only witness who could prove North Korea's denial.
Eventually, Kim Hyun-hee was freed and was able to live as an ordinary person. The story of Kim Hyun-hee teaches us that everyone can be caught up in dangerous situations, but only tenacity and courage can help us escape from it.
In Figure 14, Kim Hyun-hee's ** as a child has appeared in mainstream newspapers in many countries. At that time, she was favored by the whole family, and even her friends and classmates regarded her as the object of envy.
However, that all changed after she went to college. In 1977, Kim Hyun-hee entered Kim Il Sung University to study biology, and a year later she was transferred to Pyongyang University of Foreign Chinese to continue her studies in Japanese.
At that time, she did not realize that her enviable days were coming to an end. In 1980, Kim Hyun-hee was selected by the North Korean ** organization, and since then her code name has become "Kim Yuhua".
In the eyes of her family and friends, she faded away. In the same year, she was sent to a secret base for special training, where language learning was the most important thing in addition to military skills.
After that, she was arranged to study Japanese culture in a guest house and prepare for future disguises. The teacher who taught her Japanese was named Yaeko Taguchi, who was married and had a son and a daughter.
However, when she was left alone one day, she was kidnapped and taken to North Korea to teach North Korea as a Japanese teacher.
In 151982, Kim Hyun-hee passed a strict screening and officially became a **. In 1984, she was arranged to cooperate with ** Kim Seung-il, and the two carried out infiltration and operations in European countries as father and daughter.
Next, Kim Hyun-hee was trained in Chinese culture. After careful preparation, she managed to infiltrate Macau and took advantage of the local policies to gain overseas status. However, on October 4, 1987, as soon as Kim Hyun-hee was granted permanent residence in Macau, she received an urgent order from the organization to return to Pyongyang immediately.
According to Kim Hyun-hee herself, the biggest regret in her life was not being able to give her mother the gifts she bought from Beijing on the way. After returning to Pyongyang, she lost her freedom, and the organization ordered her to immediately carry out a mission: to blow up a South Korean civilian aircraft and disrupt the holding of the Seoul Olympics.
Kim Hyun-hee and her partner Kim Seung-il took a plane in North Korea to Moscow, the Soviet Union, and then transferred from Moscow to Iraq, and finally built the ** case of the 858 Airlines passenger plane.
Although Kim Hyun-hee was freed, in order to prevent her from being assassinated, she has been secretly monitored and protected by South Korea. Despite this, Kim Hyun-hee is still cursed by people and stopped by security guards as she walks down the street.
While living in South Korea, Kim Hyun-hee wrote several autobiographies, which were translated into many languages and sold very well. Later, a film adapted from Kim Hyun-hee's experience, "Spy War Crisis", was released, and she received royalty income for it, which exceeded billions of won.
She donated all the money to the victims' families. In December 1997, Kim Hyun-hee married one of the security guards who guarded her. After marriage, they had a son and a daughter.
Now, Kim Hyun-hee lives a low-key ordinary life and rarely appears in public.
Kim Hyun-hee: Re-emergence after 17 years In April 2009, Kim Hyun-hee reappeared in the public eye, this time at the request of the Japanese side to meet Taguchi Yaeko's son in Seoul.
He had always longed to get to know his mother, and Kim Hyun-hee told him about Taguchi Yaeko and told him, "Your mother is still alive!" On July 20, 2010, Kim Hyun-hee was invited by Japan to leave South Korea for a visit to Japan, where she met Yaeko's family and son again.
Kim Hyun-hee understands that the Japanese ** only wants her to bring comfort to the families of those who have been kidnapped.
At one time, she was trained in North Korea and used as a pawn to carry out terrorist attacks on the international stage; Now, she chooses to atone for her sins in South Korea and become a witness to South Korea, and this twisted life story is like a fascinating drama.
