In court, we need to be mindful of what we say and do, to ensure that we are able to speak up for justice, and to avoid adversely affecting the trial through inappropriate speech. The following three types of things should never be said in court, otherwise you may lose the case and not know why.
First, don't interrupt the judge and the other party. The courtroom hears a case in a rigorous process, and everyone has the opportunity to speak and refute. As long as the judges fairly distribute the opportunities for both sides to speak, we should respect this rule and refrain from arbitrarily interrupting the speeches of the judges and the other party. Otherwise, this can lead to court quarrels and chaos, and even affect the efficiency of the judge's trial, leaving a bad impression on the judge.
Second, don't talk about things that are not related to the case. Some parties may tell stories in detail that are not related to the case in court in the hope of achieving some purpose. However, this can lead to going off topic and wasting court time. If you say something you shouldn't say, you may be caught by the other party and lose the case. Therefore, in court, you should focus on the case itself and not go into content that is not related to the case.
Third, don't say anything that threatens the judge or the other party. The courtroom is a place of law and evidence, not a place of retribution and threats. If a person retaliates with threats, he or she may be given a warning, fined, or detained. In court, we should obey the law, remain calm, and convince the judge with facts and evidence. In this way, we can win a just verdict.
