Standing in the Chongqing Open Port Ruins Park and overlooking the railing, the Yangtze River is surging down, and the bridges such as the Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge and the Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge have different postures, drawing a strong stroke for the landscape of Chongqing - these bridges are Deng Wenzhong's works.

When I was writing this book, I interviewed more than 60 people and told the story of a group centered on Academician Deng Wenzhong who built Chongqing and achieved their dreams in the wave of reform and opening up. As they read, readers can feel that every step of TYLI China's progress has been accompanied by opportunities brought about by Chongqing's development and changes, as well as opportunities created by Chongqing's reform and opening up. Bai Qiaoxian, the author of this book, said.
The day of the book meeting was the 86th birthday of Academician Deng Wenzhong. Despite his old age, he still works 10 hours a day and enjoys it. When is the preparation? He humorously said that his great-grandfather lived to be 60 years old, his grandfather lived to be 80 years old, and his father lived to be 100 years old, "Theoretically, I should have lived to be 120 years old." So, work until you're 120 years old! ”
