In order to further do a good job in campus fire safety, enhance the fire safety awareness and escape self-rescue ability of teachers and students, and effectively prevent and reduce the occurrence of campus fire accidents, on February 26, the Pengshan District Fire and Rescue Brigade of Meishan City entered the district kindergarten, Jinjiang kindergarten and experimental primary school to carry out a series of fire safety science education activities of "The First Lesson of School", and made every effort to create a good campus fire safety environment.
In the course of the training, the propagandists introduced the fire safety knowledge that should be familiar to the children in daily life through five aspects: "understanding fire work, understanding fire knowledge, typical fire safety cases, the importance of student safety education, campus fire safety precautions, fire fighting facilities and equipment, and the use of fire extinguishers". And explained in detail how to extinguish the initial fire, how to call the police for help, how to identify whether the fire extinguisher is qualified, how to correctly use the fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, focusing on the way to extinguish the fire and escape, the children listened very carefully, and enthusiastically answered the fire safety related questions raised by the propagandist. The propagandists also explained how to find fire hazards, how to prevent fire accidents, how to deal with fires correctly, and the identification of daily fire safety signs in combination with the characteristics of home, campus and other places where students often live, and answered the questions in the minds of students one by one through on-site questions.
After the training, the fire propagandist explained the use and use of various equipment to the teachers and students present, carried out the practical operation drill of "oil basin fire extinguishing" on the spot, and taught the teachers and students how to use the fire extinguisher correctly.
