Liu Bei, whose name is Xuande, was a native of Zhuo County, Zhuo County, Youzhou in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was the queen of Liu Sheng, the king of Zhongshan in the Western Han Dynasty, however, by his generation, the family had declined. When Liu Bei was young, his father died early, and he could only rely on his mother for his life and make a living by weaving mats and selling shoes. Although life is hard, but he has the world in mind, he and Guan Yu and Zhang Fei Taoyuan formed a righteous alliance and entered the rivers and lakes together.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the world was in turmoil, and the heroes rose. Liu Bei saw the opportunity, and he decided to raise troops to restore the Han dynasty and pacify the world. In 221 AD, Liu Bei was proclaimed emperor in Chengdu, and his country name was Han, known as Shu Han in history. However, shortly after Liu Bei became emperor, his sworn brother Guan Yu was killed by Sun Quan in Jingzhou, which made Liu Bei sad and angry.
