People on the earth know that "sow beans and get beans, and plant melons and get melons", but there is a Long March restaurant in Shitanjing, which can be described as planting beans and getting melons.
At the end of the seventies of the last century, the chaos was put in order, the east wind gradually rose, and all kinds of waste were waiting to be rebuilt. Shitanjing, which has experienced the catastrophe, has also begun to enter a rare and short-lived era, and a number of promising infrastructure projects have been launched - the Long March Restaurant is one of them.
The Long March Restaurant is named after the Long March Bridge, the first bridge in Shitanjing, next to it. When I was in the third grade of primary school, the Long March Bridge was completed, which solved the suffering of the people in the mine wading through the river. At that time, the word "reform and opening up" had not yet appeared, and the buzzword was "New Long March", and the bridge was named "Long March Bridge".
Although the beach river is not a real river, it is annoying to have a lot of sewage in summer and ice in winter, and to wade through the water like acrobatic walking and jumping on rocks. The people of Shitanjing have been longing for this bridge for a long time! On the night of the completion of the Long March Bridge, the bridge was brightly lit, thousands of people were empty, the crowds were surging, and the crowd was excited, which was no less than the grand scene of Foshan people visiting Tongji Bridge during the Lantern Festival!
Built with the front and back feet of the Long March Bridge, there is the Long March Restaurant.
It is a three-storey building with an L-shaped plan, and it has a unique location. To describe it in the popular sales advertisement, "the project is close to the Shitanjing transportation hub Long March Bridge, and it is only a two-minute walk from the bureau; The surrounding facilities are perfect: public security bureau, bus station, guest house, second primary school, cinema, cultural palace, hotel; The planned Hongguang market is close at hand, and the ring road under construction is like a tiger with wings: it has 100,000 passengers in the mining area, and the potential for future appreciation is unlimited. ”
From this point of view, the Long March restaurant can't be popular if it doesn't want to. However, it is not the restaurant that is on fire, but the shopping mall. The Long March Restaurant, which was originally a state-run restaurant on the first floor, was quickly closed in front of Kurama in the cold. The whole building has been converted into a shopping mall, and the business is becoming more and more prosperous, ** in the tenth century, it was like the "Wangfujing" and "Tianhe City" of Shitanjing.
After the opening of the Long March Restaurant, the commercial center of gravity of Shitanjing continued to move northward, and the original Dongfanghong Shopping Mall (south side of the photo studio) became increasingly depressed, and the shopping mall next to the post office built at the same time as the Long March Restaurant has also been tepid. Both of these malls have only one floor, small business area, few types of goods, and less attractiveness.
The L-shaped Long March restaurant faces the street on both sides, and at the corner is the gate of the mall, and after entering, there is a large shopping mall on the left and right, selling sweets and sweets on the left side of the first floor, and stationery on the right. These are all things that attract children, we often go there after school, our foreheads against the counter glass, admiring the candy, pens, fragrant erasers, etc., and our little hands slide over the cold counter, but our hearts are warm and cheerful. In most cases, you can only get past it, and that's happy.
On the first floor, there was a kind of milk candy sold, which was particularly delicious, it seemed to be called "public milk candy", four yuan for a dime, and eight yuan for a dime of halva. There is also a small round biscuit made of custard dripping, which I call "button biscuit" because of its shape. Those canned foods such as braised beef and tangerines in sugar water, how can children afford them? You can only look at the greed.
There is a curved staircase in the middle of the first floor, and when you go up to the second floor, you are faced with a counter with glasses, and the owner is a southern guy. When I was a freshman in high school, my eyes were short-sighted, so I got a pair of color-changing myopia glasses at his house, and the color of the lenses could change with the intensity of the light.
I can't remember what sells on the second and third floors, and I don't think I'm particularly interested. I remember selling leather shoes and clothing, and it was here that I bought the leather shoes I wore for my wedding, called "Guipai" leather shoes, and the bedding for my wedding was also bought here, but this was in the late nineties, and the restaurant rented the space to some southern businessmen.
There are also hardware accessories on the second floor, and I went to buy things to repair the bike: tire repair glue, spokes, pedals, saddle (which is always stolen). I also saw a sledgehammer and shovel head on the counter, and I thought to myself, what fool would buy this thing and take a handful from the mine and use it at home? I have also admired the glass knife on the counter many times, and marveled at its high **, as if it cost twenty or thirty yuan a piece in the early eighties, and everyone said that the diamond on the head of the knife was worth a lot.
Inside the restaurant, it is naturally very fun, rushing into the lobby in winter, and then lifting the thick cotton curtain, a warm breeze blows in the face, and the air is mixed with the unique smell of various goods. On the way out of school, wandering in the cafeteria for a while can warm up your frozen body.
The restaurant is also surrounded by rich businesses and boundless fun. At the east end of the Long March Bridge, there is a house built at the same time as the bridge, and four big characters are molded with cement on the lintel, and the penmanship is strong, and I don't know who wrote it.
The last two words are undoubtedly "snacks", but the first two words, we are a group of primary school students who can't recognize them, and some people can talk and guess randomly, all kinds of things. When I grew up, I realized that it was the traditional Chinese character of the word "qiaotou". The bridgehead snack has not been opened, and it is half dead. A lame master built a small tin room next to it, specializing in fountain pens and keys, and business has been good.
Opposite the restaurant, there is a restaurant, and the lintel is also made of cement with three big characters "Another Village (Village)", which may be the hand of one person with "Qiaotou snacks". It's a real restaurant, and business used to be booming. Needless to say, primary school students still don't know that word, they all pronounce it as "another tun", and some people read it as "another meal", and explain in a vigorous way: "The food inside is delicious, and after eating a meal, I want to come and eat a meal" - from this point of view, another village is elegant, and another meal is more realistic.
There used to be a cold drink factory here, and a middle-aged man took a group of little girls to make popsicles and ice cream to sell. It is said that one summer, when the water supply was scarce, he took the girls and the girls to the beach to bring sewage, clarified it with alum, boiled it into mung bean soup, and made it into a bean paste popsicle, which was found by the health and epidemic prevention department and fined.
However, this was the first shop to sell homemade ice cream in Shitanjing, two cents or two cents and five small balls, rich in milky aroma, my fourth sister bought one for me, I only ate that once, the taste is deeply in my mind, and no ice cream can eat that taste after that.
There are also people who set up stalls at the base of the restaurant to do some business, and there are two or three shoe repairers and bicycle repairers. At that time, leather shoes were precious, and for fear of being worn out, they had to find two or three iron palms nailed to repair the shoes, and after putting them on, they clicked when they walked.
There are two things that attract children the most around the restaurant, a soda stand and a picture book stand – two things that people can afford the most.
There is an old lady selling soda at the door of the restaurant, which is made of cold boiled water with flavors, pigments, and saccharin, which no one drinks without money today, but at that time it was a rare delicacy on the way to and from school. A small cup costs one penny, a medium cup costs two cents, and a canned bottle costs five cents. A small square glass is placed on the rim of the cup to show hygiene. Actually, if you drink what I drink, the cup is not hygienic at all. However, who has never drunk this kind of soda among the children of the sixth-O and seventh-O generations in Shitanjing?
Picture book stall, don't I need to say more, right? In the seventies and eighties, the children of Shitanjing, who has not been to the painting book stall to see the picture books, please raise your hand!
