HSN62-1 tin brass tube
Due to its excellent corrosion resistance and processing properties, brass is widely used in petrochemical, shipbuilding, offshore operation equipment, power equipment and other fields. Tin brass is known as "navy brass", according to the zinc content, it is divided into tin brass, tin brass, hsn62-1 has ( two-phase structure, with the addition of tin and other alloying elements in the copper-zinc alloy, it further improves its corrosion resistance in seawater, and is easy to cut, and has good weldability and comprehensive mechanical properties.
HSN62-1 is a copper-zinc-tin ternary (A+) two-phase brass named Navy Brass.
The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, fresh water and seawater, and has high mechanical properties and good processability. In the cold work hardening state, the alloy has a strong tendency to stress corrosion damage, so the cold work hardening materials and parts should be annealed for stress relief. The alloy is mainly used in various pipelines and parts that work in media such as seawater and gasoline.
In the actual production and processing, according to the thickness of brass, material characteristics, and different on-site working conditions, commonly used welding methods include electrode arc welding, argon arc welding, gas welding, etc. Only by combining the characteristics of various welding methods, site conditions and technical requirements can we formulate a reasonable welding process and achieve efficient, high-quality, energy-saving and economical welding in actual production.
