On January 30, Gaotai County held a signing ceremony for the advanced compressed air energy storage + new energy development industry project in Gansu Gaotai Cadre College, presided over by Zhang Long, secretary of the county party committee, and Wuhan Zhang, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, introduced the basic situation of Gaotai County, Gao Xudong, deputy general manager of China National Energy Storage (Beijing) Technology, Liu Chengdi, deputy general manager of China Nuclear Energy (Gansu) Energy, Liu Huanyu, technical director of Shaanxi long-term large-capacity energy storage technology, and county leaders Yu Jianfeng, Zhao Dongzhe, Meng Yuezu, Li Xiaoyu and heads of relevant departments attended.
At the ceremony, China National Energy Storage (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and China Nuclear Energy (Gansu) Energy Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with Gaotai County on advanced compressed air energy storage + new energy development industrial project, and the participating leaders witnessed the signing.
It is understood that the project is located in Luochengtan, Gaotai County, and plans to build an advanced compressed air energy storage power station with a total scale of 5 million kilowatts and 30 million kilowatt hours. In accordance with the overall promotion degree of the project of "advanced compressed air energy storage + new energy development and construction + related industry construction", it will cooperate with China Nuclear Huineng Gansu Company to build in phases, with a planned investment of 3.5 billion yuan in the first phase to build two energy storage power stations of 300,000 kilowatts, 1.8 million kilowatt-hours and 100,000 kilowatts and 600,000 kilowatt-hours, covering an area of 300 acres, mainly including multi-stage wide-load compressors, multi-stage high-load expanders, array heat storage systems, high-efficiency compact heat exchangers, motors, generators, gas storage devices and control systems. The designed gas storage volume is about 450,000 + 150,000 cubic meters. The power station project adopts the 100-megawatt advanced compressed air energy storage technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China National Energy Storage Company will provide a full set of equipment and technologies required for the power station.
Zhang Long said that compressed air energy storage is one of the world's most advanced new energy storage technologies, which has been mentioned many times in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" New Energy Storage Development Implementation Plan, and the "key technology of 100 megawatt compressed air energy storage" is the key research direction of new energy storage in the "14th Five-Year Plan". The total planned installed capacity of new energy in Gaotai County is 30.5 million kilowatts, accounting for more than half of the city's total. Now it has been built and connected to the grid 11170,000 kilowatts, and 600,000 kilowatts of wind and photovoltaic projects are currently under construction. The successful signing of the advanced compressed air energy storage + new energy development industry project is a vision and expectation, but also a responsibility and commitment. Gaotai County will make every effort to be a good "shopkeeper", strive to provide high-quality and efficient services for the construction of the project, and strive to promote the early start of the project, the early completion and the early play of benefits, and jointly build the project into a county benchmark project in the field of compressed air energy storage.
