【Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Line】Heavy fog has caused the two cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes to continue to be suspended
The continuous foggy weather since February 20 has led to the suspension of the two cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes from Fuzhou Mawei to Matsu and Lianjiang Huangqi to Matsu for two consecutive days.
On the 21st, the foggy weather continued along the coast of Fujian, and the Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory continued to issue fog warnings. Among them, the visibility of Sansha Bay in Ningde, Luoyuan Bay in Fuzhou, Nanri Waterway in Putian, and Jinshang Bay in Quanzhou is less than 500 meters.
Foggy weather adversely affects ship navigation operations. In order to ensure the safety of maritime traffic, the Fujian maritime affairs department has successively adopted temporary traffic control measures in Sansha Bay in Ningde, Luoyuan Bay in Fuzhou, Nanri Waterway in Putian, Jinshang Bay in Quanzhou and other sea areas since 7 o'clock on the same day, and suspended the entry and exit of ships from the port.
As of 12 o'clock on the same day, a total of 19 passenger ferry routes along the coast of Fujian were suspended, including two cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes from Fuzhou Mawei to Matsu and Lianjiang Huangqi to Matsu.
Starting that night, there will be strong cold air in Fujian. According to the forecast of the Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory, the temperature in Fujian Province has dropped significantly from west to east, and the minimum temperature process can be cooled by 8-12 in most of the time, and there will be a cold wave locally.
Fuzhou Port Mawei Port reported that due to poor sea conditions, the Lianjiang Huangqi to Matsu passenger route was suspended in both directions on the 22nd. (*China News Service-**Reporter Long Min).
