If you don't seem to have an input method on your computer or the input method is missing, you can try the following methods to call up or add an input method. The following steps are mainly for Windows and macOS operating systems.
Use shortcut keys: Try pressingwin
space
key to switch between different input methods. This is one of the fastest ways.
Taskbar settings: In the notification area of the taskbar (lower right corner), click the input method icon (such as "eng"), and select the input method you need from the pop-up list.
Open the Settings app, which can be accessed by tapping on the gear icon in the start menu.
Click on "Time and Language" > "Language".
Under "Preferred Language", if the language you want is already listed, click on it and select "Options" to add an input method on the next page. If you don't see the language you need, click "Add Preferred Language" to add a new language, and you can select language functions including input methods during the installation process.

Menu bar selection: In the menu bar at the top of the screen, tap the icon that shows the language (e.g. American flag for English input method) and select the input method you need from the drop-down menu.
Open System Preferences, which can be accessed by tapping on the Apple menu ( ) in the top left corner of the screen.
Click on "Keyboard".
Select the Input Source tab.
Click the "+" button in the lower left corner, select the input method of the language you want to add from the list, and then click "Add".
With the above steps, you should be able to call up or add the required input method.
