Drawing arrows in Microsoft Word can be achieved in several ways, and here are some commonly used steps to add arrows. Assuming you're using a newer version of Word (e.g., Office 2016, Office 2019, or Office 365), the steps are broadly similar.

Open the Word document: First open the word document to which you need to add arrows.

Select the Insert tab: Find and click on the "Insert" tab in the menu bar of Word.
