James Duncan, a Mississauga resident, said he had just taken his two young daughters to McDonald's on 1829 Lakeshore Road West on Feb. 9 and bought food from Drive-Thru.
They went into another room and sat down to eat, and my daughter said, 'Daddy, there's a bone in my Chicken McNugget!' Duncan told CTV News Toronto on Wednesday. She bit down and bit her loose tooth. ”
His daughter then pulled a bone about an inch long from the chicken, Duncan said.

I was like, wow," he said. "You can also see the holes left by the bones when they were pulled out. ”
The father said he tried to call McDonald's customer service "five or six times" but was told there would be no staff after 9 p.m. When he finally reached Lakeshore, he said, he told him to bring the bones back to the store and send them for analysis, and the staff said they would be happy to give him a new pack of chicken nuggets.
Duncan didn't feel like it was going to take it, saying, "I'm just a little disappointed. ”
He said that in order to talk to the people at headquarters, he filled out the questionnaire on the back of the receipt, attaching the ** and ** of the bones, as well as the history of the incident. But in an interview nearly a week later, Duncan said he had not heard back from the company's team.
"It's a huge business with many different branches and outreach resources, and I feel compelled to let them know what's going on," he said. ”

Larry McCormick, franchise owner of Lakeshore McDonald's, said in an interview with CTV News that the safety and health of employees and guests is an "absolutely" priority for them. "We pride ourselves on serving our guests with the best and safest ingredients. We are actively investigating and will take appropriate next steps. ”
Duncan says he still considers himself lucky. "We're all okay, and so are her teeth," he said. "I was just disappointed, but not surprised. ”
