Value Village, a second-hand chain brand distributed throughout Canada, has always been a unique place for shoppers.
Recently, however, an anonymous reader discovered some staggering items at a Value Village store in the Mississauga area of Ontario that shoppers may never have expected.
1.Not just plates, but also food scraps.
In the Home Furnishings section, shoppers not only found piles of colorful plastic plates and bowls, which is already a common occurrence in Value Village. But surprisingly, one of the bowls still had hard food residues left on it.
Plastic cutlery set with 'extra' food residue," the reader quipped.
And such a set of "story" tableware, the price tag is as high as 9$99, what an eye-opening second-hand price.
2.A pot of plants that have "gone through all the vicissitudes of life".
Another puzzling item is a marble-like plant pot. This item has an outdated appearance, and when you open it, you can see that the interior is actually quite dirty.
However, the most surprising thing is that this one is priced at 3The $99 plant pot still has a dollarama label at the bottom, showing that the original price was $3. Spending 99cents more on a dirty plant pot doesn't really feel like a good deal.
3.Not only dirty, but also "attached" to the hair of the cup.
Another eye-catching item in the Household Items section is a dirty mug. This beige mug has a price tag of 2Knife 99, it looks ordinary, the only difference is that there is still a hair on it!
4."Scarred" cardigan.
For shoppers looking for second-hand clothing, Value Village always has a wide range of hangers. However, the shopper found a cardigan with a large hole near the neckline, priced at a whopping 999 knives!
And that's just the tip of the iceberg, as other shoppers have spotted some exceptionally quirky items, ranging from almost empty boxes of candles to stacks of empty boxes with eggs.
