Professor Shen Hao, Vice President of China Academy of Art, delivered a speech.
Shen Hao, vice president of the China Academy of Art, said that the animation world is full of joys and sorrows, joys and sorrows, and the light of human wisdom shines everywhere. However, unlike other artistic creations, animation creation is a highly integrated process of art and technology, which not only requires thinking and creation, but also requires a pure heart of artistic expression, and requires the craftsmanship spirit and long-term perseverance of the masters. This is also the inspiration brought to us by Professor Tsukioka's theme of this exhibition, "No Walk, No Reach".
Professor Sadao Tsukioka, a master of Japanese animation, gave a speech.
Sadao Tsukioka said that this exhibition can be said to be the largest and most extensive of his solo exhibitions in recent years.
Professor Sadao Tsukioka gave a guided tour of the exhibition.
Sadao Tsukioka studied with Osamu Tezuka in his early years, participated in the production of works such as "Astro Boy", and was praised as a "genius animator" by Osamu Tezuka, and has been working in the animation industry for more than 60 years. And became one of the important figures in the field of animation education in China and Japan. Since 2009, he has been specially appointed as a master's tutor by the School of Media and Animation, China Academy of Art.
Mr. Tsukioka has been working in television (animation) for a long time, but television is characterized by the fact that it disappears once it is broadcast, and he is very worried that the works created in the digital age may cease to exist one day. Mr. Tsukioka hopes that the works of these cartoons he creates will remain in people's minds and hearts. Therefore, most of the works exhibited in this exhibition are still figure paintings, and it looks back and shows the creation and thinking of Mr. Tsukioka as an animator in recent years. On the other hand, today's animation creation mostly relies on the phenomenon of electronic **, and Mr. Tsukioka Sadao went the opposite way, staying away from these electronic **, and insisted on carrying out a series of the purest animation creation exercises on paper.
According to the type of paintings, the exhibition is subdivided into five sub-sections: "Bird and Beast Painting", "Judo", "Sumo", "Luohan Picture" and "Transforming Art", which will be exhibited on the first and second floors of the Liangzhu Culture and Art Center and the Big Roof Art Museum, and will be on display until February 3.
