Fast Technology reported on January 30 that as the first and so far only game handheld with Intel Core Ultra processor, the launch time of MSI CLAW has not been announced, but the US version has been made public.
On MSI Official**, three versions of MSI CLAW have been put on pre-sale, including three versions:
Core Ultra 5 135H, 16GB, 512GB: 699$99 (5025).
Core Ultra 7 155h, 16GB, 512GB: 74999 USD (5385).
Core Ultra 7 155H, 16GB, 1TB: 79999 USD (5740).
Previously, it was rumored that there was a 32GB memory version, but I don't know if it was followed up or canceled.
The Core Ultra 5 135H processor has 14 cores and 18 threads and a maximum frequency of 46GHz, Arc Core with 7 XE cores, frequency 22ghz。
The Core Ultra 7 155H has 16 cores and 22 threads, with a maximum frequency of 48GHz, 8 cores, 225GHz frequency.
The performance difference between the two is not huge, at least not as much as the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme and Ryzen Z1 used in the ROG handheld and Lenovo Legion GO, so the difference is only $50 for different configurations**.
Speaking of which, the ROG handheld is currently priced at $599 for the Z1 and $699 for the Z1 Extreme overseas, with the latter only $4,899 in China.
Lenovo Legion GO is priced at $699 for 512GB and $749 for 1TB overseas, while it is $4999 and $5599 for China.
In comparison, MSI CLAW is still a bit expensive, and it has to be lowered again to be more competitive.
