What is Strategy? To put it simply, enterprise strategy is an overall, long-term and basic plan for enterprise competition.

In terms of connotation, there are three characteristics:

1. The strategy is to "create a unique and advantageous positioning";

2. Strategy is "to make trade-offs in competition, the essence of which is to choose what not to do";

3. Strategy is "to establish a matching relationship between the various operational activities of the enterprise".

There are four aspects of significance for enterprises to formulate strategic planning:

1. Help enterprises meet future challenges. In the face of a complex internal and external environment, enterprises need strategic guidance to help them meet future challenges.

2. Make the enterprise operation have a higher possibility of success. Companies with a well-developed strategic management system have a higher chance of success than those that do not.

3. Make the enterprise have a clear future goal. Provide a clear goal for the future development of the enterprise and make it clear to each member.

4. Provide guidance for the operation of the enterprise. Provide unified guidance for the day-to-day operation of all parts of the enterprise.

The development of a strategic plan is a rigorous process that mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Analyze the attractiveness of the industry;

2. Evaluate their own competitiveness;

3. List possible strategic options;

4. Evaluate and select strategic solutions;

5. Financial returns.
