In order to strengthen the gas safety management of catering enterprises in the region and effectively prevent the occurrence of safety accidents in catering establishments, on January 30, the Office of the Safety Production Committee of Jilin Zhongxin Food Zone organized the heads of catering establishments in the region to carry out gas safety training meetings, and invited experts in the field of municipal gas to teach relevant knowledge of gas safety inspection. A total of more than 110 safety leaders from catering units, schools, hospitals, etc. in the region participated in the gas safety training.
At the training meeting, Lv Chunshan, a distinguished expert of the Gas Department of the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, introduced the methods of identifying gas hazards, emergency treatment methods and accident cases from the perspective of gas physical characteristics, emphasizing the importance of regular gas hazard investigation, and further enabling the persons in charge of catering enterprises and establishments to understand and be familiar with gas safety knowledge, enhance safety awareness, and prevent "burning" before it happens.
Through this training, the heads of catering enterprises and establishments have expressed that they are fully aware of the importance of safety production, and they must always tighten the "string" of safe gas use and keep the "safety bottom line" in future production and business activities. The food area will continue to increase the safety inspection of gas users in "nine small places" such as catering, and resolutely plug the loopholes in safety production supervision through joint departmental inspections, "cadres + experts" training and teaching, and hidden danger rectification and "looking back", resolutely prevent and curb the occurrence of various production safety accidents, and effectively enhance the public's awareness of prevention and response and escape and self-rescue ability, so as to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and social stability.
