In late January, the "Smart Life, Happy Old Age" practice team conducted an online and offline survey on the use of smartphones by the elderly, and the questionnaires collected reflected many problems. In order to better help the elderly use smart phones, the practice team members carried out online meetings under the guidance of Mr. Liu Zhaoyu.

In this survey, 400 questionnaires were sent out and 392 valid questionnaires were returned. The questionnaire covers questions ranging from whether to use smartphones to the difficulties of using smartphones, and is consistent with the original intention of this survey, that is, to understand and help the elderly to use smartphones.

According to the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that the elderly face many difficulties and challenges in the process of using smartphones. First of all, they may feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable with new tech products, which makes them may encounter some technical problems during use. Secondly, as they age, their vision, hearing, and hand coordination may deteriorate, which also brings trouble to their mobile phone use. In addition, the elderly may not be familiar with the various functions and applications of the mobile phone, which makes them may encounter some operational difficulties when using the mobile phone.

In order to address these issues, the ** department has taken a number of actions. At the same time, as members of the practice team, we are also actively carrying out training activities on the use of smartphones for the elderly, facing the "pain points" and "difficulties" encountered in the process of using them, and solving them one by one to help them better master and use smartphones.

In general, the pain points and difficulties of the elderly in using smartphones mainly include the unfamiliarity with new technologies, the limitations of physical conditions, and the lack of understanding of mobile phone functions. In order to solve these problems, we need to make more efforts, pay more time and energy to the elderly, and join hands with the elderly to enter the intelligent era.
