In January 1951, the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau launched the registration of secret agents, and in just a few days, four or five thousand former Kuomintang senior ** Xiang ** surrendered and waited to be processed.

Because Yang Dengying had served as the vice president of the Kuomintang ** Reform Institute and the Introspection Yuan, he was arrested by the Public Security Bureau and was prepared to impose a heavy sentence on him. Before the sentencing, Yang Dengying took the initiative to confess: "I used to work for the underground party organization of the Communist Party of China, and both ** and Chen Geng can testify for me." ”

Surprisingly, on the occasion of his death, he once said to the staff around him: "Never forget the ...... of those who helped us when we were most dangerous."This includes Yang Dengying.

So who is Yang Dengying? What is his true identity? Why is *** still thinking about him when he is dying?

Double-sided ** Yang Dengying, the legendary story of rescuing Luo Yinong Yang Dengying, formerly known as Bao Junfu, a native of Guangdong, studied in Japan in his early years and graduated from Waseda University.

In 1924, he joined the Kuomintang and became a member of the party. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with Chiang Kai-shek's "April 12 counter-revolutionary coup" and was imprisoned for it.

Fortunately, he was released on bail from prison by Cai Yuanpei, a veteran Kuomintang politician. In 1928, the Kuomintang established a secret agency, the Central Union, and Yang Dengying's friend Yang Jianhong was the director general of the Investigation Section of the Central Union.

Yang Jianhong recommended Yang Dengying to Chen Lifu, hoping that he could join the Central Unification, but Yang Dengying was very disappointed by the Kuomintang at this time, so he was a little hesitant. At this time, another friend of his, Chen Yangshan, who is also a member of the CCP's ** Special Branch, helped him solve this problem.

He successfully rescued Luo Yinong and became a double-faced **. Although he served as a spy in the Kuomintang, he always maintained his loyalty to the Communist Party and made great contributions to the cause of the Communist Party.

Yang's story tells us that a person can make different choices in different circumstances, and as long as he has his own beliefs and principles, he can become a true hero.

His double-faced ** identity is not only his legend, but also his life.

After Chen Yangshan learned that Yang Dengying was willing to work for the Communist Party, he reported the matter to the organization, which attracted the attention of ***. **It is believed that if Yang Dengying can be used correctly, it will bring great help to the party organization.

Chen Yangshan suggested that Yang Dengying go to work in the Party Affairs Investigation Section, so that he could reconnoiter within the Kuomintang and obtain information and report it to the Communist Party. At the end of 1927, Chen Geng and Yang Dengying met in a café in Shanghai, and Chen Geng asked Yang Dengying to infiltrate the Kuomintang **, break into the Songhu Garrison Command and the concession intelligence agency, obtain intelligence for the Communist Party and rescue ** comrades.

In order to gain the trust of the Kuomintang, Yang Dengying tried his best to deal with Yang Jianhong, Chen Lifu, and Zhang Daofan. For example, when Zhang Daofan encountered a political enemy, Yang Dengying managed to help him get rid of the enemy, winning Zhang Daofan's trust and gratitude.

Since then, Zhang Daofan has been promoted to deputy director of the National Organization Department, and under his care, Yang Dengying has been well protected. As a first-class officer, Yang Dengying needs to do some work to gain the trust of his superiors.

Chen Geng often handed him some unclassified items such as progressive literature and party manifestos, and asked him to take them on errands. In addition, Chen Geng will also arrange some empty venues for Yang Dengying to take people to crack.

Chen Geng's strategy made Yang Dengying's position in the Kuomintang increasingly solid, and both Chiang Kai-shek and other governors of the Central Union believed in him. Chen Geng once said: "At that time, the Kuomintang's secret service in Shanghai was actually controlled by us. ”

Yang Dengying not only helped our party rescue imprisoned Communist Party members many times and avoided many losses of our party, but also showed his wisdom and courage at critical moments.

On April 15, 1928, Luo Yinong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Provisional **, was arrested by detectives from the British patrol room, and ** and others were very anxious. After discussion, it was concluded that there must have been a traitor in the organization.

In order to rescue Luo Yinong and avoid further destruction of the revolution, ** and Chen Geng and others decided to find the traitor. In this case, Chen Geng thought of Yang Dengying, because he had a good relationship with Lampson of the British Patrol House.

After receiving this task, Yang Dengying immediately launched an operation, using his identity as a member of the investigation department to investigate the matter, which was both fair and fair, and would not be suspected. He reported the situation by sending a telegram to Chen Lifu and Zhang Daofan.

After Chen Lifu learned the news of Luo Yinong's arrest, he was very happy and thought that this was a good opportunity to seize the "big fish".

Chen Lifu Chen Lifu immediately instructed Yang Dengying to go to the British patrol room to discuss the extradition of Luo Yinong. Yang Dengying came to the patrol room as instructed, found Lampson, and asked for the extradition of Luo Yinong.

When Lampson learned that it was an order from the top of the Kuomintang, he did not obstruct it, but only proposed that the extradition would require additional money. Yang Dengying intended to get more information about the traitor from Lampson, but Lampson took the initiative to confess.

He said: "Huo Jiaxin and He Zhihua are traitors, and I know that they still have a list of more than 300 communists in their hands, and we must hand them over to the Kuomintang as soon as possible to prevent greater harm to the revolution." ”

Yang Dengying was shocked by this, because he didn't know that He Zhihua used to be the wife of **, which was a big discovery. However, he didn't show it on his face. After Yang Dengying returned home, he immediately reported the situation to Chen Geng: "It was Huo Jiaxin and He Zhihua who betrayed Comrade Luo Yinong, and they still have a list of more than 300 Communist Party members, we need to hand over Luo Yinong to the Kuomintang on the 19th, you need to discuss countermeasures before this and rescue Luo Yinong." ”

After He Zhihua (the one in the circle) ** Tek learned the news, he immediately planned a rescue plan and prepared to rob Luo Yinong in the process of escorting Luo Yinong. However, it backfired, and what everyone didn't expect was that at the critical moment, Chen Lifu made a special trip to Shanghai to escort Luo Yinong.

Since Luo Yinong resolutely refused to disclose the news that was unfavorable to our party, Chen Lifu immediately ordered Luo Yinong to be executed in order to avoid long nights and dreams. When Yang Dengying learned the news, Luo Yinong had already died heroically ......After Luo Yinong's death, **Tek decided to quickly punish the traitors.

On April 26, 1928, a news item in the newspaper "News" attracted everyone's attention: "At about 7 o'clock in the morning, a welcoming procession came to No. 178 Pushi Road, French Concession, and a group of people rushed into the room and killed a couple in the room......"This couple is Huo Jiaxin and He Zhihua.

However, instead of dying, He Zhihua was blind in one eye. Originally, the underground party members wanted to go to the hospital to assassinate He Zhihua, but because the Kuomintang agents were too tightly guarded, and our party had already recaptured the list, they abandoned this plan.

After the murder, He Zhihua disappeared from Shanghai, some say she returned to her hometown of Sichuan, others say she was killed by Kuomintang reactionaries in 1928 ......Peng Pai died bravely, Yang Dengying eradicated the traitor On August 23, 1929, Bai Xin, secretary of the Communist Party of China's ** Military Commission, secretly notified Peng Pai, Yang Yin, Xing Shizhen and others in Shanghai to hold a meeting at his house the next afternoon, and said that the secretary of the military committee would also come back to participate.

Peng Pai**, instructed to inquire into the place of detention. Yang Dengying found out the reason, and Bai Xin surrendered to the enemy. ** Urgently convene a meeting to study a plan for rescuing and punishing the traitors.

Chen Geng instructed Yang Dengying to participate in the interrogation and hinted to Peng that they would do their best to rescue him. Peng Pai was transferred to the Shanghai Garrison Command, and **ordered** Special Branch to be dispatched to ambush the prisoner car next to the Fenglin Bridge in Longhua, preparing to carjack and rescue.

In the early morning of August 28, ** personally planned to rescue Peng Pai and others, but due to insufficient preparation, the best opportunity was missed, and the rescue operation was unsuccessful.

On August 30, Peng Pai, Yang Yin and others were killed in Longhua, **Chen Geng was grief-stricken and decided to arrest the traitor and severely punish him**. However, the Kuomintang protected Bai Xin too much, and our party had no chance to start, so Chen Geng had to ask Yang Dengying for help.

Yang Dengying pretended to be good friends with Bai Xin and entered the Fan Mansion, where Bai Xin gave him warm hospitality. Fearing that something would happen in Shanghai, Bai Xin asked Chiang Kai-shek to go to Italy for refuge, and Chiang Kai-shek approved his request.

In order to gain Bai Xin's trust, Yang Dengying also supported him to go abroad. **Upon learning of this, he was immediately instructed to resolutely get rid of the traitor and not to allow him to flee abroad.

The Kuomintang bought Bai Xin a ticket for November 12 and sent someone to escort him to board the ship at Wusongkou Wharf on the evening of November 11. But this plan is very tight, and if it is carried out according to the plan, ** Tek's hoe plan may fall through.

Faced with this dilemma, we need to find new coping strategies.

Yang Dengying made a worrying suggestion: "Although this plan is good, I think it is a bit dangerous. Parking a car in front of the house in the middle of the night is too conspicuous, which may attract the attention of the ** hoe rape brigade.

They may have noticed Mr. Bai's trace, so I suggested parking the car at the entrance of the alley. The person who laid out the plan accepted this suggestion to avoid losing face for Yang Dengying.

On the evening of November 11, Yang Dengying conducted on-the-spot reconnaissance in the name of resignation, and only left with confidence after learning that Bai Xin had fled according to his plan. At 11 o'clock, it was pitch black on the street, and only the Fan Mansion was brightly lit.

The door of the Fan Mansion quietly opened, and a person came out to look left and right, and then beckoned a few dark shadows to come out. When one of the men in a black suit walked out, he shouted, "Bai Xin** escape!" ”

sounded, Bai Xin and two spies were killed. This case, known as the "first case in the East" in the 20th century, shocked China and foreign countries, and also made Chiang Kai-shek panic all day.

Before Yang Dengying**, ** had testified for his identity. However, on April 25, 1931, Gu Shunzhang**, who was in charge of the security work, defected. Fortunately, Qian Zhuangfei, an underground member of the Communist Party of China, reported the news to *** in time and avoided greater losses.

Decisive measures were taken, and a major relocation of the various organs began. On the morning of April 28, Yang Dengying came to the Bund again, and Chen Geng was already waiting here.

The two walked along the secluded path and talked. Chen Geng solemnly told Yang Dengying that Gu Shunzhang had defected. Yang Dengying was shocked, and he immediately asked about Gu Shunzhang's situation, but Chen Geng told him that it was too late.

Chen Geng told Yang Dengying that Shanghai could not stay any longer, that most of the organs had been transferred, and that he was about to leave. Before leaving, Chen Geng was Yang Dengying, and he gave Yang Dengying two gold bars and a few gold rings, hoping that he could use the money to deal with the current difficulties.

Yang Dengying was deeply moved by Chen Geng's actions, and he accepted the gold with grateful, and decided to leave Shanghai as soon as possible. He deeply felt that as a member of the Communist Party, he must resolutely carry out the party's decision, and no matter what difficulties and dangers he faces, he must stick to his faith and move forward firmly.

Yang Dengying took the gold bar, looked at it carefully, and then returned it to Chen Geng, and said, "Mr. Wang, I feel very honored that we met once. Although I am not a communist, you can think of me at this time, and I really don't know how to express my gratitude.

You are in great need of money right now, but I can't accept it, and I thank you very much for your kindness. Yang Dengying looked into the distance and said softly: "I choose to stay in Shanghai, I believe that Gu Shunzhang will not be able to compete with Zhang Daofan." ”

Chen Geng said: "I am very happy that you are willing to stay here. But you have to be mentally prepared, if Gu Shunzhang reports to you, you just bite him back, and don't say anything else.

When the revolution succeeds, I will definitely remember your kindness. Yang Dengying trembled slightly, and he said: "No matter whether you succeed in the future or not, with your words, I feel that it is worth making you a friend."

Even if I am asked to go up the knife mountain and down the sea of fire, I will not regret it. After Yang Dengying said goodbye to Chen Geng, he returned home alone. However, it didn't take long for a large group of agents to arrive at his home and arrest him.

After half a year in prison, he remained silent and did not confess. In 1932, after the "128 Incident", Yang Dengying was released because the Kuomintang did not find Yang Dengying's handle, and because Zhang Daofan, then deputy director of the Kuomintang Organization Department, was secretly active.

At this time, ** Chen Geng and others had already left Shanghai, and Yang Dengying had also lost contact with our party. However, in 1934, the Kuomintang once again appointed Yang Dengying as the vice president of the Nanjing Provincial Introspection Institute, at which time he had completely broken away from the ** system and began a peaceful life.

After the outbreak of the July Seven Incident in 1937, Yang Dengying lived in Nanjing. In 1949, when the People's Liberation Army liberated Nanjing, he made a living by setting up cigarette stalls on the streets.

In October 1950, when the first major political movement of New China, the "suppression of rebellion", began, the people of Nanjing City issued a proclamation: "All those who have held positions in the party, government, military, police, constitutional, and special organs of the Kuomintang shall be registered with the public security organs." ”

In just a few days, four or five thousand former Kuomintang members at all levels surrendered to Nanjing. However, Yang Dengying believed that he had done something for the Communist Party, so he did not register.

As soon as the deadline came, because he had served as the vice president of the Kuomintang ** Reform Institute and the Reflection Yuan, he was arrested by the people of Nanjing City ** and quickly transferred to the court.

Later, after the approval of the relevant leaders, he was prepared to be sentenced to a heavy sentence. Before the sentencing, Yang Dengying hurriedly said: "I have done things for the underground party organization of the Communist Party of China back then, and Comrade ** and Comrade Chen Geng can testify for me!" ”

Soon after, Ju Hua, then president of the Nanjing Court, sent two telegrams to Chen Geng, then chairman of the Yunnan Provincial People's **, hoping to prove Yang Dengying's political identity during the Great Revolution.

On November 24, Chen Geng sent a telegram to Ju Hua: "As for the truth of Yang Dengying's confession, as far as I know, he has indeed been in contact with our party since 1927 and has provided information to our party.

His contribution to the party during this period was very ......”

Chen Geng's testimony saved Yang Dengying's life, but his life in Nanjing was difficult. However, when Vice Minister of Justice Chen Yangshan learned of his situation, he immediately wrote to the director of the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau, saying that he would provide relief to Yang Dengying.

In 1956, the Nanjing Military Region specially sent Yang Dengying to Beijing, where he met Chen Geng, Chen Yangshan, Li Kenong and others who were protected by him in his early years. Chen Geng inquired in detail about Yang Dengying's living situation and arranged for relevant parties to provide him with living assistance.

In addition, Chen Geng also installed dentures for Yang Dengying, and gave clothes and leather shoes and other items. However, despite all this help, Yang Dengying died of illness on December 19, 1969, at the age of 76.

Before he died, he repeatedly emphasized: "I am not a spy, nor am I a mole, ** a ...... who knows my identity."When he was dying, he called Luo Qingchang to his side, Luo Qingchang listened in his ear, and nodded from time to time.

** In his dying moments, he repeatedly chanted some names, including Yang Dengying. He stressed that these people reached out to the party in the most difficult time, and we must not forget them in any way.
