Guangzhou**: What has been the history of the Smart Zone in the five years since the promulgation and implementation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area? What has been achieved?
Tang Jun: Under the guidance of the development plan of the Greater Bay Area, the construction of the smart zone has been "shifting gears and speeding up", and the role of serving the grand strategy, carrying large projects and supporting the great development has continued to increase, with a total of 385 industrial projects introduced, with a total planned investment of 113.2 billion yuan and an estimated output value of 276.9 billion yuan.
Promote the clustering of characteristic industries. A number of major industrial projects have successively laid out "landing", continued to increase capital and expand production, and constructed a "strong magnetic field" that gathers industrial resources. The laser and additive industry chain in the park has a certain scale.
Among the newly introduced projects, nearly sixty percent of the parent companies are specialized and special new enterprises, and the quality of the projects is relatively high-quality. In addition, it has also reserved a number of technology-based, stable and growth-oriented projects under discussion.
Build a large platform to carry large industries. The Smart Zone actively connects with the Huizhou Dawan Office, digs deep into the development characteristics of the park, and creates a cooperation platform with Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao characteristics focusing on "China-South Korea cooperation, Huizhou-Hong Kong cooperation, and Huizhou-Shenzhen cooperation". At present, 17 Korean-funded projects have been introduced. At present, 18 Hong Kong-funded projects have been introduced into the smart zone, and the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, an innovation and entrepreneurship platform for Hong Kong and Macao youths, is currently undergoing sub-building acceptance in the first phase of the project, and the main structure construction is underway in the second phase, and 11 Hong Kong and Macao-funded enterprises have been signed. Tang Jun: We actively participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, closely connect with the Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone, strengthen the resource docking with Guangzhou and other cities in the Greater Bay Area, explore and promote the establishment of cooperative relations with universities and research institutes in the Greater Bay Area, and carry out full-chain cooperation from technology research and development to business incubation to industrial cultivation, so as to empower the development of smart zones.
Accelerate the forging of "hard technology" skills. We focus on integrating and introducing various platforms and resources in the Greater Bay Area to promote the steady development of innovation platforms. We support and encourage enterprises to cooperate with universities and research institutes to optimize the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Accelerate the construction of the Huizhou branch of the South China Technology Transfer Center, and promote the turnover of technology contracts to reach more than 1.8 billion yuan. Jointly build a UAV molding technology research institute with South China University of Technology to shape new advantages for development with innovation. Strengthen the "soft connection" of exchanges and cooperation. We actively promote the Tonghu Ecological Smart Zone to build a characteristic cooperation platform for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with the starting area of the China-South Korea (Huizhou) Industrial Park as the main position, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Japan and South Korea and other countries, and enhance the opening level of the park.
