A passenger happened to be going to Nanluoguxiang to play, "This car is very beautiful, with a lot of decorations on the central axis." "I feel that this car is very colorful, such as the bell and drum tower, which are all on the central axis. A child said.

Beijing Metro Line 8 starts from Zhuxinzhuang Station in the north to Yinghai Station in the south, forming a large-volume rail transit with a total length of 49 kilometers running through the north-south central axis, connecting the overpass, Qianmen, Wangfujing and other old Beijing characteristic cultural landmarks into a line, echoing with the above-ground central axis, and is a veritable "underground central axis".

Yu Wenting, a lecturer at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication and the main creative team of the central axis special train design, introduced that this train is designed with the concept of "rhythmic central axis". The design includes the design of more than 10 heritage sites such as the Bell and Drum Tower, Wanning Bridge, Duanmen and Tianqiao. Two shapes were made, one was placed on the façade of the carriage and the inner wall of the carriage, and the other was used for the windows, and the publicity and introduction of these architectural points were added. There are a total of 7 stations of the screen gate, including Wangfujing Station, Nanluoguxiang Station, etc., and at the same time, some building points of Xiannongtan have been specially added to the Tianqiao Station, and Haihutun Station has been restored to the historical architectural shape of Dahongmen.

The design of the exterior and interior of the special train is based on the integration of 15 characteristic architectural elements of the Beijing Central Axis, and also integrates digital content and experience.

We want to create a mobile central axis special train, so that passengers can feel the culture of the central axis in the process of riding, design the main scenic spots and buildings on the central axis, and launch a digital platform, so that passengers can experience the beauty of the central axis online and offline. Cao Qiong, head of the operation management department of the Beijing Metro Corporation, said that the car was included in the normal train operation plan and did not depart at a fixed time. In the future, Beijing Metro Corporation will also launch more cultural special trains to provide passengers with a richer riding experience while promoting traditional culture.
