It is difficult to recruit troops in Ukraine, Zelensky is in a hurry, and three big moves in a row!

Recently, with the loss of the Ukrainian army in the city of Avdeyevka, an important town in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, and after the Russian army began a full-scale offensive in five directions, the battlefield situation in Ukraine has been in danger. Zelensky is in a hurry, and there are three big moves in terms of conscription!

1. Lowering the age of conscription again

According to the latest report by the Associated Press on February 22, quoted by the "Global Network", due to the continued shortage of troops on the front line, Zelensky was forced to implement a very "unpopular" expanded conscription plan to increase the source of about 400,000 troops, but in fact, the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Zaluzhny, asked for 500,000 conscription, which is already a compromise plan.

The war began with children, and Ukrainian children have taken up wooden guns to receive various military training, much like Japan in World War II, which used bamboo guns to mobilize and train children.

A few weeks ago, the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine was already preparing for this, adopting the second version of the mobilization amendment bill in the first reading.

This latest version of the conscription bill has been increased from 72 to 85 pages in the first edition, and the main addition is that all Ukrainian men between the ages of 18 and 60 must open an account on the Internet "Electronic Office for Conscripts, Compulsory Military Service Officers and Reservists", so that electronic conscription notices can be sent to this account quickly.

Moreover, no Ukrainian male between the ages of 18 and 60 can use the fact that he does not know the Internet or a computer as an excuse for refusing to register for Selective Service or claiming that he has not received an electronic conscription notice.

Ukrainian men who have not yet been on the battlefield and fail to register for this conscription account will have their cars, homes and other property confiscated and their bank accounts frozen. Anyone who refuses to serve in the military will go straight to prison and will be subject to compulsory conscription for the duration of their sentence.

At the same time, the staff of the Selective Service Commission of Ukraine will continue to implement mandatory conscription on the spot throughout Ukraine.

More and more old people and women with pale beards in Ukraine are forced to join the Ukrainian army, and the average age of Ukrainian soldiers has reached 43 years old.

In addition, this version of the conscription bill retains the main changes made in the first version from 27 to 25 years of age, as well as strict restrictions on evasion of military service and the departure of citizens abroad.

Although the new version of the scheme removes the content on the enlistment criteria for persons with disabilities in the second and ** disabilities, it also disqualifies citizens from deferring service for caring for relatives with disabilities, and in fact no longer issues disability certificates.

Obviously, this bill is actually to lay the legal basis for the conscription of all Ukrainian men between the ages of 18 and 60, so that Zelensky can order the mandatory conscription of soldiers of this age group at any time. In fact, there are already 16-year-old underage "conscripts" in the Ukrainian army, and in short, Zelensky is ready to expand conscription again.

2. Demand that the EU forcibly repatriate Ukrainian men abroad to return home

The German weekly "Der Spiegel" published an article on the 21st, reporting on the voices of Ukrainian refugees who fled from their homeland to European countries under the "new mobilization law" in Kiev: "I'm not afraid to kill anyone, I just don't want to die."

Boyko, a 24-year-old Ukrainian, told Der Spiegel about the difficult path he took to flee Ukraine two years ago: he swam across the Tisza River, the border between Ukraine and Romania, fled his homeland to escape forced conscription, and then traveled around Europe, living in fear and hiding every day for fear that his country would forcibly return him to Ukraine.

Zelensky has repeatedly applied to the EU for the forced repatriation of Ukrainian men from within the EU to return to fight in the war. And many EU countries, including Spain, Italy, and the three Baltic countries, also have many voices within themselves, asking their countries to respond to Zelensky's recruitment call to send Ukrainian refugees back to their home countries and relieve social pressure in their countries.

For example, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Estonia has said that Estonia is planning to sign an agreement with Ukraine on the repatriation of refugees in preparation for its next conscription. Estonia** has done enough research for this, and there are more than 7,000 Ukrainian men of military age in the country, and they know very well what these Ukrainian refugees live in and what they are doing.

Although most EU countries are still on the sidelines, they have already begun to reduce the standard of subsidies for Ukrainian refugees. For example, Ireland's job search allowance for Ukrainian refugees has been reduced from 220 euros (about 1,713 yuan) per month to 3880 euros (about 302 yuan), and Ireland** only provides refugees with 90 days of free accommodation, after which they must pay for themselves.

Poland and Germany are the EU countries that receive the most Ukrainian refugees, with Poland officially counting more than 3 million Ukrainian refugees in two years, compared to more than 4 million by private estimates, and about 1.1 million to 1.2 million Ukrainian refugees in Germany.

The opposition opposition in Poland and Germany has repeatedly asked the ruling party to follow Zelensky's call to at least "gift" Ukrainian male refugees back to China, and the people's calls have been stubble after another.

The attitude of these two countries is wavering, and once the repatriation of Ukrainian refugees occurs, then other EU countries are bound to follow suit.

In short, in addition to the 2.85 million Ukrainian refugees who fled to Russia, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees believes that as of March 2023, the number of overseas refugees in Ukraine exceeds 11 million, and these refugees have long been targeted by Zelensky, and once they are repatriated, most of them will be forcibly sent to the battlefield, and Zelensky will continue to pressure countries around the world in 2024 to be repatriated as soon as possible.

3. Foreigners are allowed to join the army in Ukraine

Zelenskyy signed a decree on February 21 that foreigners and stateless persons would be allowed to serve in the Ukrainian National Guard, which came into effect on the same day.

"Foreigners who legally reside on the territory of Ukraine, who have not been previously convicted of a crime, who meet the requirements for military service in the legislation of Ukraine, may serve in the National Guard of Ukraine on a voluntary basis," the decree said. ”

From the very beginning of the war, there was an influx of foreign volunteers or mercenaries into Ukraine to participate in the war, paid by NATO. But they soon found out that the actual income did not match the amount promised by NATO, so they retreated and withdrew from Ukraine.

Due to the prevalence of corruption in Ukraine, most of the military salaries have been swallowed up by all levels of Ukraine, for which Zelensky was forced to remove all the heads of the enlistment offices across Ukraine, but the follow-up is still a national moth, which is useless at all.

Zelensky's latest decree on foreigners joining the army is just better than nothing, and it is now difficult to fool foreigners into working on the battlefield in Ukraine, but the significance of the decree is to imply that NATO countries can send troops to the war and join the Ukrainian army on their own volition.

This shows that Ukraine has not only asked for the first equipment assistance from the United States and the West, but has now taken the initiative to ask NATO countries to send "volunteers" to fight directly against Russia!

In short, Ukraine is experiencing a new defeat on the battlefield, and the depletion of troops has become its biggest problem at present, after all, the first-class equipment that is sought back from the United States and the West ultimately needs to be operated and used by people.

Zelensky responded to the request of the United States ** Biden to "shed the last drop of Ukrainian blood", and on the second anniversary of the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on February 24 (today), he made a desperate bet to put more Ukrainians into the grinding plate of blood, and would rather destroy the country and destroy the species than safeguard the interests of the master!
