The Panxing Railway starts from Panzhou Station of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway in the north and ends at Xingyi South Station, with a total length of about 98 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. After completion and opening to traffic, the time from Panzhou to Xingyi will be shortened from the original 70 minutes to less than 30 minutes. Guiyang to the central cities of 8 cities (prefectures) in the province can be formed in 1 to 2 hours of high-speed rail traffic circle.
