February 4, 2024 is World Cancer Day, with the theme "Close the Care Gap". On the eve of World Cancer Day, as a member of the International Union Against Cancer, the China Anti-Cancer Association actively responded to the "Healthy China Action - Cancer Prevention and Control Action Implementation Plan (2023-2030)" to promote the expansion, sinking and balanced distribution of high-quality cancer prevention and control resources, and further improve the capacity of primary medical care. From January 24th to 25th, Academician Fan Daiming, Chairman of the China Anti-Cancer Association, led a CACA expert delegation to Leshan, Sichuan, and Foshan, Guangzhou, to help improve the local medical level, so that people can get well-known expert diagnosis and treatment services without leaving home.

On January 24, the "Healthy China in Action and CACA Guidelines China Tour (Leshan Station)" co-sponsored by the China Anti-Cancer Association and Xinhuanet was held in Leshan People's Hospital. Academician Fan Daiming, Chairman of the China Anti-Cancer Association, led a CACA expert group to Professor Li Weimin from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Yi Qun from Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital, Professor Zeng Xiaohua from the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University, and Professor Zou Bingwen from West China Hospital of Sichuan University to conduct ward rounds, free clinics and guidance for difficult cases. During the meeting, Professor Li Weimin and Professor Zeng Xiaohua of the CACA expert group, Professor Li Tao of Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital, Professor Liu Yao of the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University, Professor Weiqi Yuan of Chongqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Professor Jiang Yu of West China Hospital of Sichuan University shared and exchanged views on local high-incidence tumor types and appropriate technologies, combined with CACA guidelines. After that, Academician Fan Daiming led the CACA guide team from Leshan, Sichuan Province to Foshan, Guangzhou, to continue to carry out grassroots promotion activities for cancer prevention and control.
On January 25th, the "Healthy China in Action and CACA Guide to China Tour (Foshan Station)" was held in Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University. Professor Chen Minshan and Professor Liu Jihong from the Cancer Center of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Zhong Wenzhao from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Lei Ziying from the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, Professor Ouyang Nengtai from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and Professor Huang Yubei from Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital interpreted each chapter of the CACA guidelines respectively. On the same day, Academician Fan Daiming led a group of experts such as Professor Yao Liangqing from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University, Professor Wang Binchao from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Yang Hong from the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center of Sun Yat-sen University, and experts from Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University to carry out teaching rounds, multidisciplinary consultations and free clinics for difficult cases.

In the future, according to the high-incidence tumor types in the area where the primary medical institutions are located and the appropriate technologies carried out by the hospitals, the China Anti-Cancer Association will organize a team of CACA guidelines experts to guide the needs, carry out precise assistance such as talent training, discipline construction, hospital brand building and clinical support system construction, provide hospital patients with whole-process and one-stop integrated medical services, and form a new pattern of hospital discipline development of "moving the threshold forward, the center of gravity delayed, solid diagnosis and treatment, and having characteristics", so as to achieve "making up for shortcomings and highlighting longboards" The new positioning of hospital brand building.
