In the army, there have been many posts before, but with the retirement of time, the adjustment of the organizational establishment and structure, the change of combat missions, and the progress of military research, these posts have been cancelled or replaced.
Let's look at the company first. First, the deputy platoon commander of the company. This position previously existed and was later abolished. Soon after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the post of deputy platoon commander was retained in the military structure, and the deputy platoon commander could be either an officer or a squad leader, and played the duty of assisting the platoon commander in managing the work of the whole platoon.
Second, the deputy instructor of the company. For a long time, the position of deputy instructor existed, and together with the deputy company commander, he played the role of assisting the company commander and instructor, specifically assisting the instructor, grasping the discipline of the company, and serving as the disciplinary committee member of the company's party branch. Later, the deputy company commander was retained, but the deputy instructor was abolished.
Thirdly, the chief of the company. That's right, each company has a division chief, and it is an officer, who reports directly to the deputy company commander and is in charge of the company's logistics support. This position was later held by non-commissioned officers, and later, the company retained only the leader of the cooking squad, and the chief of the division was only available to the battalion-level units. From the point of view of the organs, there are also posts that have been abolished.
Fourth, the captain of the film projection team. Each regimental-level unit has a film projection team, which is responsible for the film projection work in the regiment and also participates in the organization of some cultural and entertainment activities. This position was later abolished, and there were still projectionists in each brigade, but there was no captain.
Fifth, the director of the cultural club. The cultural club is an organization of every regiment-level unit, which is subordinate to the propaganda unit of the regimental political department, and the director of the club is generally an officer who is older than the company but is good at organizing cultural activities, and some are cultural officers. This position was subsequently abolished.
Sixth, the Chief of the Equipment Division and the Chief of the Logistics Division. The reason why these two posts are written together is because later the functions of the equipment department and the logistics department were integrated together and became the support department, and the main person in charge of the support department was the director of the support department. The original logistics chief and equipment chief were all abolished.

7. Deputy Political Commissar of the Ministry of People's Armed Forces. In the past, the Ministry of People's Armed Forces had the setting of deputy political commissar, including military sub-districts, and also had the post of deputy political commissar, but later this post was abolished, and its responsibilities were concurrently held by the chief of the political engineering section, and some work was directly taken care of by the political commissar of the Ministry of People's Armed Forces.
