Recorded by the literati of the Qing Dynastyis anecdotal and convincing
In this world, there will always be some magical and incredible phenomena that have not changed since ancient times. The feudal period of ancient society was no exception, when people were superstitious and believed in various ghosts and gods.
As long as there is no scientific evidence to prove it, it is classified as a ghost phenomenon. Among them, the mirage is one of the great mysteries of ancient times. Due to the low level of science and technology at that time, people could not make a scientific explanation for this miraculous phenomenon.
What's even more amazing is that when the mirage appears, it has different shapes, like a fantasy, like a legendary fairyland. However, with the development of technology, we already have a scientific explanation for mirages.
However, the reality of the dragon's existence remains an unsolved mystery.
Even though the world is full of unknowns, what science can't explain doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Today I am going to talk about a strange man during the Qing Dynasty, his name is Pan Lun'en, who recorded two of his strange stories to make people realize the power of causal cycles and catastrophes.
But in any case, I hope you will remain in awe. Next, let's dive into the story together.
During his travels, the Qing Dynasty scholar Pan Lunen discovered many bizarre and strange things, and he incorporated these bizarre experiences into his works. One of them was his experience when he stayed at a farmer's house.
Although the farmer's family is poor, his personality charm makes people feel simple and warm. In order to entertain him, the farmer specially cooked a pot of fish soup. After tasting it, Pan Lunen praised it, but the farmer sighed and told him that there was more delicious fish before.
However, that place has become a forbidden place, and it is no longer possible to taste those delicacies.
Curious about the farmer's story, the farmer shared a story with him. Wulong Pit used to be just a small ditch, and no one cared about it. It wasn't until an old man firmly claimed that he had seen a four-clawed black dragon cub there that the place began to attract attention.
Although everyone did not see this dragon with their own eyes, their hearts were still full of awe, and the name of the Karataki pit spread. However, some of the juniors did not believe it, they went to Wulong Keng to catch a fish home, and after cooking it, they found that the fish here was extremely delicious, and after the news spread, everyone went to Wulong Keng to catch fish.
However, it wasn't long before they discovered something strange: the remaining fish in the Karataki pit had grown four black claws.
It turned out that the people in awe, after witnessing all this, vowed never to fish here again. However, some people just don't believe in evil and still stick to fishing here, only to find that the fish not only tastes better, but also has unusually hard claws that are difficult to cut with a knife.
On a sunny day, a sudden torrential rain and hail lasted for nearly an hour, destroying many houses and even killing or missing people. Later, it was discovered that the victims were all those who had fished here.
The incident caused widespread panic, and people called the catastrophe "calamity". Since then, this place has become a forbidden place that no one dares to approach.
In Pan Lunen's memory, there was a thousand-year-old locust tree in his hometown, and the stump was so huge that it took at least ten people to surround it. Since the inhabitants of the village rarely suffer from disasters and diseases, they believe that the ancient locust tree is protecting them, and often burn incense and pray under the tree.
However, one day, a huge honeycomb suddenly appeared on this thousand-year-old locust tree, surrounded by many bees. Because people didn't know much about bees at that time, and some people heard about being stung to death by bees, no one dared to approach this ancient locust tree.
But what is surprising is that after a month, the honeycomb on the locust tree has disappeared.
For this reason, the villagers believe that it is the dryads who protect the village and are in awe of the locust trees. However, a few days later, a bolt of lightning pierced the sky, and with a loud bang, the village's thousand-year-old locust tree was struck by lightning, igniting a raging fire.
The villagers were worried about the locust trees and went to extinguish the fire as soon as the fire subsided. After extinguishing the fire, they found that the base of the locust tree was empty, and countless dead ants were piled up there.
Out of curiosity, they cleaned up the ants and found a small palace-like building with a giant ant in the main hall. In addition, the various passages outside the palace are scattered and orderly, like a microcosm of feudal society.
This situation made the villagers wonder: is the resemblance between ants and humans really what we imagined? These two stories give us a deep understanding of karma.
Although many historical sources may be fabricated, we cannot deny the existence of some events that we have not experienced. Even in modern society, many people still believe that karma is just a psychological suggestion, and there is no scientific basis.
However, in reality, there are indeed many incredible things, and some of them are even experienced in real life. In the face of these phenomena, we still have to maintain a sense of awe, because not experiencing it does not mean that it does not exist.
