Tell me about my recent impressions
The renovation of the old community is a first-class policy to benefit the people, involving the transformation of water, electricity and heating communications, external wall insulation, community road transformation, and the installation of sports facilities. However, the installation of elevators on six floors has received mixed reviews.
Recently, the installation of elevators in old residential areas should be "fully installed". The installation of elevators on the sixth floor has facilitated the upstairs and downstairs of residents above the second floor, especially the elderly with limited mobility, but at the same time it has increased the floor area, the line of sight and lighting have been affected, there are potential safety hazards, and more importantly, the investment and later maintenance costs are larger.
Some residents oppose the installation of elevators on the sixth floor, especially the residents on the first and second floors, because the installation of elevators will have an impact on the first floor, such as the noise generated when the elevator is used, affecting the lighting, disrupting the original quiet environment, etc., which are all problems that need to be considered and solved practically.
If the follow-up maintenance of the elevator cannot keep up, or the maintenance fee, verification fee, upgrade fee, and management fee cannot be collected, and no one pays for the damage to the elevator, the elevator will be permanently suspended and become scrap copper and rotten iron, while increasing potential safety hazards and occupying land and space.
According to the relevant regulations, if the first floor does not agree, it is not possible to force the installation of elevators, and all owners must agree to install elevators in the old building, and if one owner does not agree, it cannot be installed.
Between the poor quality of the old community, the installation of elevators destroys the original structure of the house, the proportion of capital contribution and maintenance costs is more complicated, and the bottom floor residents affected by the installation of elevators increase the contradictions in the neighborhood and the main responsibility for safety accidents is difficult to define.
The installation of elevators in old residential areas should be cautious.
