Coal mine dust control technology

Coal dust is one of the main disasters in the mining process, which seriously threatens the occupational health of underground workers and the safety of coal mining enterprises.

At present, coal mine dust control mainly adopts coal seam water injection and dust reduction, ventilation and dust removal, spray dust reduction and other technologies. These technologies have played an important role in controlling dust concentrations, but they also have their own limitations and shortcomings. For example, the cost of the high-pressure water injection device required for coal seam water injection is high, and it is difficult to evenly wet a large area of coal, the dust suppression efficiency is low, and the application site is limited, such as the implementation of water injection in the soft and broken coal seam is more difficult. Although the dust removal fan has a high dust reduction efficiency, it is limited in high gas and outburst mines because it is a strong current equipment, and the large volume of the equipment is limited, and the air volume for inhaling and purifying dust-containing airflow is also limited. Spray dust reduction is the most widely used wet dust removal method at present, which has the advantages of low cost and simple process, but the inner spray nozzle is easy to block, difficult to maintain, and the external spray water flow is large, which not only causes corrosion and corrosion of equipment, but also greatly increases the moisture content of coal. In particular, the ability of water mist to wet coal dust is weak, resulting in low spray dust reduction efficiency, high water consumption, and deterioration of the working environment. Therefore, relying only on traditional dust prevention technology cannot meet the practical needs of coal dust control.

The foam produced by the mining foam dust reduction device can effectively inhibit the underground dust, and the foam produced by the mining foam dust reduction device acts on the dust through good coverage, wetting, adhesion, etc., so that the dust is fully covered, and fundamentally prevents the generation and outward diffusion of dust, so as to effectively reduce the dust concentration on the mining surface, improve the dust suppression efficiency, reduce the cost of dust suppression, improve the mining face environment, and improve the work efficiency of underground operators. Effectively reduce the incidence of pneumoconiosis among front-line mining workers.
