Combined with the characteristics of the passenger flow of the Spring Festival in 2024, the Hongqiao Terminal 1 Station of Metro Line 10 will implement the turnstile renovation project from January 23, 2024, and the new turnstile has been put into use since January 29. The renovation project changed all the original three-bar turnstiles of the station to revolving gate turnstiles, and added 1 inbound wide channel turnstile and 4 outbound wide channel turnstiles. After it is put into use, it facilitates the smooth passage of passengers with large luggage, and effectively improves the speed of passengers entering and exiting the station.

East Nanjing Road Metro Station:

After the implementation of integrated management, in order to facilitate passenger travel, the existing turnstiles and layout of Nanjing East Road Station of Line 2 10 have been adjusted and renovated. Optimize the layout, and implement turnstile displacement in the station hall of Line 2. The entry gate at Exit 1 moves inward by about 1 meter as a whole, and the two groups of inbound gates at Exit 3 move inward by about 08 meters, and flatten the original group of lateral entry gates, so that the two groups of turnstiles are on the same plane, enlarging the space outside the fee area, and effectively alleviating the congestion in the ticketing area under the condition of large passenger flow.
One wide-channel turnstile will be added at the entrance and exit gates at Gate 6 to further improve the traffic capacity of the entry and exit stations. Two two-way wide-channel turnstiles will be added at Gate 7 to adjust the direction of entry and exit and set up temporary security checkpoints to quickly disperse the passenger flow and improve the speed of passengers.
Yuyuan Garden Metro Station:
Redirection + Addition! Do a good job of dynamic triage
Yuyuan Metro Station is adjacent to Shanghai's landmark tourist attractions such as Chenghuang Temple and the Bund, with an average daily passenger flow of 90,000 people and an extreme passenger flow of 340,000 people, accounting for 77% of the passenger flow of the surrounding scenic spots. In order to meet the test of tourist passenger flow during the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival in 2024, the station summarized the experience of handling large passenger flows in the past, implemented the transformation of passenger equipment, and further optimized the flow of passenger transport organization.
Among them, the 4 outbound gates at Gate 1 were adjusted to two-way turnstiles; The 5 incoming gates at Gate 5 were adjusted to two-way turnstiles, and 6 two-way turnstiles were added; The 5 outbound gates at Gate 6 were adjusted to two-way turnstiles, and 6 new two-way turnstiles were added; Six ticket vending machines were added. After the transformation, under normal working conditions, the inbound capacity of the No. 1 gate increased by 54%, and the outbound capacity of No. 5 increased by 37%; Under the condition of current limiting, the inbound capacity increased by 183%, and the outbound capacity increased by 46%.
According to the passenger flow situation, the station will do a good job in diversion and passenger flow diversion by adjusting the one-way entry mode, adding a non-package passage at the number gate, and adding a flexible and movable flow limiting railing in the middle of the station hall.
