As of today, the LS7 has driven more than 12,000 kilometers. In addition to the long-distance NOA test of 2,000 kilometers from Chengdu to Zhongwei, the other road conditions are daily commuting in the city.

First of all, there have been no problems so far, and all the functions are working normally.

The most satisfying thing is:

1. The seat configuration of the whole car is very high: front row + right rear row heating and ventilation massage, left rear row heating. In this kind of weather, you can turn on the heated massage when you get in the car, which can be regarded as a small luck on the road. There are 4 of us in the family, and my mother usually sits in the C position in the back right row, and she will have a massage when she gets in the car. As a five-seater SUV, the ability to fill up the configuration with a single seat in the back is comparable to the luxury D-segment cars of previous years.

The right side of the rear row is individually adjusted to a comfortable angle: the backrest is slightly tilted back, and the leg rest is raised a little to ensure the comfort of the passenger seat, and at the same time, it also significantly improves the comfort of a single seat in the rear row.

2. About zero-gravity seats: It is a satisfactory "redundant" configuration. The reason is that the realization of zero gravity requires the front seat to be reclined, that is, the passenger seat does not sit. In practice, when used for daily commuting, most of the time the two people still sit in the front seat when they are in the car, rather than one in front of the other. But that doesn't mean this zero-gravity seat is useless.

When I'm very tired, and when I'm not feeling well, I still use a zero-gravity chair. I also use it for meetings and work in the car. There is also a scene where my colleague was also resting in the rear zero-gravity mode during a long drive.

Some people may wonder why I am satisfied with the word "redundancy". It's because even if you buy a massage chair at home, you won't use it every day, right, and if you buy a Hermes, you won't carry it every day. This zero-gravity seat is to a car what a massage chair is to a home, which means the same to the home - you may not use it every day, but the moment you nest in it when you are tired, you will feel that it is still worth it.

Besides, there are not many cars in the entire market that can achieve the same level of comfort in such a car. And even without zero-gravity mode (that is, you don't have to fold down the passenger seat), its backrest angle adjustment range is very large, and with the configuration of heating, ventilation and massage, this seat is also worth buying.

3. The voice setting is very good: the voice can realize the separate instructions of each seat, and the audio is also issued separately in each seat - this avoids the loud response of the whole car audio to everyone during the voice dialogue. For each seat, the microphone setting of "listening" and "speaking" should be the standard configuration for in-car voice in the future. Otherwise, the voice will significantly interfere with unrelated occupants. After using Zhiji LS7, I think the control of this piece is enough to be described as fine.

4. Half-width steering wheel + dome design: After 12,000 kilometers of actual use, I think the half-width steering wheel will not be uncomfortable to pick up. Because when driving on the road, it is rare to encounter a situation where you suddenly need to play many laps of the steering wheel, and after getting used to it, even if you do a lot of laps quickly, you will not be uncomfortable at all - on the contrary, the more you use it, the more comfortable it becomes. And the emotional value that a half-width steering wheel brings to people is something that a normal steering wheel does not have. Because it's not only unique, it's also unobstructed by the front block.

In my opinion, these two configurations plus the screen, in fact, also belong to the "non-rigid needs, but luxury" part, which has a wider field of vision than others and looks better, which is not a tool attribute. It's like a large flat floor in the end hall or a large L-shaped floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall, isn't what you pursue is a better view and a more transparent living experience than the general house.

5. Air suspension and driving experience: The biggest benefit of air suspension for me is that it is relatively more convenient for the elderly and children to get on and off the car, but the air suspension travel of LS7 is not as good as that of some cars. Another value of the air suspension is the sense of stability and calmness when driving, and the mechanical quality of this car has been highly praised by colleagues including Mo Gong and Louis.

Of course, there are some things that I think need to be optimized in LS7 - I see that the design of the buttons has actually been optimized in LS6.

1. The key arrangement is easy to touch by mistake, and it has happened several times when the door is opened and closed.

The main driver's door closer, the pit and the window control area are too close to each other, and it is easy to touch by mistake.

2. The door opening button in the back row is on the side, and when the child sits in the back row, the elbow has also been touched by mistake.

The rear door unlocking position and the elbow movement area are too close to each other, which is easy to be accidentally touched by passengers.

3. The pet of the car machine (emphasis added: I spent money to buy) is still limited to selling cuteness after iteration, and the interactivity is not strong, I hope it can bring more surprises in future iterations.

4. Wireless charging is very slow, that is, to maintain the level of power, but the charging socket in the armrest box is charged very quickly with a charging cable, so the wireless charging pad has become a board for mobile phones.

It can be seen that the dissatisfaction can be ignored compared to the satisfactory place, especially the safety hazards of the rear door can be solved by the child lock, in general - plus I did not write specifically but really more attentive interior materials, relatively simple and uncomplicated design, especially the exterior design, this car in 12000 kilometers of use, I think it is beyond expectations.

This kind of evaluation beyond expectations, many of which are ** in those "redundant", non-tool attributes of the details and configurations, and it is these that make the LS7 and the popular model LS6 have a clear distinction, so let's talk about the difference between these two models in my eyes:

1. LS7 is obviously more inclined to enjoyment, there is no 800V, and the limit of driving is not as good as LS6, but LS6 is obviously doing performance redundancy, and LS7 is redundancy in comfort and luxury.

2. The seat configuration of LS7 is incomparable to LS6, and the interior of LS6 is not as good as LS7. The LS6 does not have dome glass.

3. However, the seats of LS6 are very thoughtful, using a similar design to the Italian bubble sofa, and the actual riding experience is also very comfortable and not cheap. It's just that the cost is indeed lower than the LS7.

LS6 uses a bubble sofa + panoramic sunroof, which actually looks very advanced.

4. Considering that LS6 only sells for more than 200,000 **, especially the whole system is equipped with lidar as standard (we didn't buy the version with lidar because the lidar was too expensive at that time)! I think Zhiji has achieved a balance between cost and product, so it is to be expected that the LS6 sells well.

5. In a word: LS6 is not able to backstab LS7, and those who can backstab LS7 have to be LS7 with a platform up to the next level.

Finally, the most important part is to talk about the car machine. After the IM OS system was launched on the LS6, the last big update actually made LS7 owners feel some "backstabs". Because the system carried by LS6 when it was listed, it was originally more advanced than LS7, including one-key welt, one-key escape, one-key tracking and other functions, LS7 has never had it.

Until the update of the Chinese New Year version - LS7 directly from 25.8 updated to 27.0!From the difference in version numbers, it can be seen how resentful the owner of the LS7 should have been before.

Updated to the latest 27.0 version, receiving this New Year's OTA gift, I feel extremely comfortable.

Equivalent to I just skipped 26 and so on, iterated from 5 to 7. At this point, all the functions of one-click AI driving have also been realized, which is equivalent to the previous LS6 has been tested for a few months for everyone, and the updated function upgrade is directly given to the latest version of LS7 - what a cool word.

I don't necessarily have to use these features, but you have to have them, and that's fair. And it has to be easy to use, not to make me scared.

What's interesting is Zhiji's automatic parking: for the office underground garage where the parking space is narrow and difficult to park, it is smooth and aggressive, and it can be parked with two clicks, which is much faster than me, so I often use it; But in the empty underground garage of my house, it wasn't so smart to identify parking spaces – so I parked myself in the empty parking lot.

In addition, at present, the city NOA for Chengdu has not been opened, when driving in the city, that is, the full-speed intelligent navigation function, which is equivalent to a full-speed ACC automatic following + lane keeping + automatic recognition of the speed limit, automatic "red light stop green light line" I tested it is not yet available.

Zhiji in the release 27.0 was announced, and the first version of the urban commuting mode that can be used nationwide will be open for public testing nationwide in the first quarter, so we look forward to the next OTA.

The parking space of my house is on the second floor, and it may be empty, and it often recognizes the parking space on the side for me to park.

In fact, the previous OTAs, each of which made the car a little smarter, is something I can perceive from the details, rather than the kind of update that seems to have a lot of update items, but is actually too many details to be perceived.

Among them, including the intelligent blind compensation function, especially the rainy night mode, makes people really feel at ease when driving, and also greatly improves driving safety. A car can become smarter and safer through continuous evolution and OTA during the life cycle of your use, in my eyes, this is the biggest difference between the era of "smart electric vehicles" and fuel vehicles.

Therefore, if you ask me about the recommendation index, I will say that if you pursue a "smart electric vehicle" product power and appearance - at the price of 300,000 yuan pure electric vehicle, whether you buy it in the end or not, Zhiji is a brand you must see and try.
