In order to create a festive, safe and peaceful atmosphere for the New Year, in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, on January 27, the General Branch of the New Capital of the Democratic Progressive Party carried out the Jiachen (2024) National Democratic Progressive National "Spring Festival Couplets and Ten Thousand Families Towards the 'New'" activity at the Comprehensive Cultural Station of Taixing Town, Xindu District, Chengdu. Xue Bo, Li Jimei, Fan Wanyong, Liu Chaoyue, vice chairman of the general branch, organized more than 10 members of calligraphers and painters such as Zhang Dalu and calligraphy lovers to write Spring Festival couplets for the masses on the spot.
The party members and volunteers of the Xindu General Branch of the Democratic Progressive Party prepared Spring Festival couplets, brushes, ink, etc. on the spot early in the morning, and the festive atmosphere attracted many people to participate. The calligraphers were enthusiastic, splashing ink on the spot, and when they fell together, the Spring Festival couplets full of vigor and power, festive and full of good wishes jumped on the paper. Some residents at the scene chose to write the word "Fu" on red paper with a brush, praying for the New Year and a happy family. Everyone held auspicious and festive Spring Festival couplets and said New Year's blessings to each other, pinning on the good wishes of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new.
It is understood that more than 200 pairs were written at the event site and more than 50 blessings were sent. The relevant person in charge of the Xindu General Branch of the Democratic Progressive Party said that in the future, the General Branch of the Xindu of the Democratic Progressive Party will continue to carry out the activities of giving Spring Festival couplets to the community and the countryside, enrich and enliven the spiritual and cultural life of the masses, and bring more joy and warmth to the people in the jurisdiction.
