Today, we're going to take a look at the results of a small leap that was owned by an owner 15 years ago. Years later, as a result of the trust that had been built, the owners decided to work with the design team again, as both family members and needs changed.
The designers are inspired by the different elements of style, lifestyle and activity needs, so let's take a look at this stunning remodel
Original Floor Plan Analysis:
1. The utilization rate of the living room balcony is very low.
2. The cloakroom space is narrow and the movement line is not smooth.
3. The dining area is relatively crowded, and daily sight and activities are restricted.
4. It is difficult to realize the separation of dry and wet due to the limited space area.
Renovation highlights: 1. Customized embedded cabinets against the wall of the home, which is convenient and practical.
2. Remove the sliding door of the living room, divide the living room and balcony into public areas with a new wall, and add a reading area, which greatly improves the space utilization.
3. After the wall was removed, the dining room was planned horizontally, and the kitchen island was designed to make the space more transparent.
4. The original small secondary bedroom is transformed into a secondary bathroom and cloakroom to meet the needs of daily use.
Entrance:
In the recessed space, there is no need for too much molding, we chose a cabinet with arched elements in the middle style style. They are placed appropriately at the entrance door, paired with a painting, fragrance and night light, creating a pleasant home atmosphere that is both simple and functional.
Living room:
The layout of the living room is different from the traditional style, the hard decoration design is relatively simple, and the soft decoration is arranged irregularly, which is cleverly integrated to provide a space for the whole family to relax and entertain.
The floor is paved with dark colors throughout the public area to make the view more open and transparent. The custom cabinet against the wall also continues the dark tone, and the contrasting colors make it both beautiful and convenient to store the items you need to use every day in the living room.
In order to maintain the texture of the space, the soft decoration design adopts the principle of interoperability and independence. The irregularly shaped coffee-colored coffee table and the arc-shaped single chair not only neutralize the large blank space of the wall, but also add a simple and high-end texture to the interior.
When it comes to setting up a home, we often worry that a single color palette will look too flat. But in such a small corner, a painting and a green plant may bring a different style and instantly create a rich atmosphere.
The living room area is distilled into a functional area for "entertaining and chatting", so comfort and interactivity become the primary needs. The multi-seater sofa becomes the focal point of the eye, with side tables, floor lamps and hanging paintings, creating a warm and simple atmosphere. In the future, it will serve as an ideal place for family gatherings and friends chatting.
Restaurant:
The renovation of the dining area makes the space more open and forms a smooth transition with the living room. The original dining room area was relatively narrow and could not accommodate large dining tables. By demolishing the walls and replanning, the restaurant can now accommodate more people at the same time.
The restaurant features bright tones and wooden tables and chairs to create a relaxed and natural dining atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the dining room with natural light, making dining even more enjoyable.
Kitchen:
The kitchen remodeling is mainly focused on layout and functionality. By designing the kitchen island, the area of the worktop is effectively increased and the work efficiency of the kitchen is improved. There is also a bar area on the island, which can be used as a breakfast area or a temporary dining area.
The kitchen is decorated in a predominantly white color palette, with modern minimalist cabinetry and a tiled backdrop, making it clean and bright overall. High-quality kitchenware and equipment ensure that the kitchen is functional and practical.
Bedroom:
The design of the bedrooms is dominated by simplicity and comfort. Bedside tables, bedside lamps and wall decorations create a welcoming atmosphere. Soft lighting and comfortable bedding provide a space for residents to relax and unwind.
Children's Room:
Charm and practicality – the children's room layout is stunning!
The windows are cleverly placed to let in light through the bay windows, creating a custom-made bright area suitable for children to study. The original stiff entrance was transformed into a semi-arc shape with flowing lines, which not only blocked the edge of the bed, but also gave more variety to the interior.
In addition, the shape of the furniture is rounded to give children a rounded and soft feel.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms, and considering that it is convenient for the children to wash and use it daily, the double basin design was chosen to cope with the busy morning.
The walls are textured light grey tiles, with two vanity mirrors of different shapes, and the hanging cabinets are used to place toiletries.
The toilet area adopts the planning of draining by the window, and is isolated with curved stone, which has a certain sense of privacy and avoids embarrassment when using.
The addition of wood elements makes it possible to store some interesting reading materials on the open shelves, and the cabinet next to it makes it easy to store frequently used items. Such a place with a mood makes people look forward to even ordinary things.
The textures of the different materials are revealed in the sunlight, and the atmosphere is just right. Lighting the fragrance and letting people wash away the fatigue of their bodies here may be the true meaning of home.
By infusing the space with emotion and making it personal, the design reveals its charm while also revealing another side of life. Such a set of light and second-time style new homes, not following the trend, not pursuing the Internet celebrity effect, I believe it has also brought some inspiration to everyone.
