In order to thoroughly implement the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, further improve the level of systematic protection of intangible cultural heritage, and strengthen the construction of the team of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Measures for the Identification and Management of Representative Inheritors of National Intangible Cultural Heritage" (Order No. 3 of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism), The Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized and carried out the application and evaluation of the sixth batch of representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage, and entered the stage of public publicity.
On the basis of the recommendation and application of 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the relevant departments of the State Organs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has established a review committee and a review expert group, and after material review, expert preliminary evaluation, declarant defense, and review committee deliberation, the sixth batch of recommended candidates for representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage (a total of 958 people) is proposed, which is hereby publicized.
The publicity period is 20 days from today. During the publicity period, units or individuals who have objections to the publicity objects may report to the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in written form such as letters, faxes, and e-mails (the letter shall be subject to the postmark of the date of sending, and the fax and e-mail shall be subject to the date of sending). The situation must be reported in a factual manner and supporting materials must be provided.
