Nowadays, when it comes to emancipating the mind, it is absolutely impossible for people to try to emancipate the mind with a single discussion. The emancipation of the mind comes from continuous self-cultivation, not what can be achieved by a movement-style discussion, which may bring about the reshaping of people's ideology, rather than the emancipation of the mind.
Social change has brought about a lot of new things, and people think that if they embrace new things, their minds will be uplifted. In the context of the great changes in the modern world, new things from Western society have been introduced to China one by one. Freedom, democracy, fraternity, equality, science, the rule of law, and so on. The intrusion of the Western world has brought about great changes in Chinese society, and new words have entered Chinese society one after another.
It has been proved that people's minds will not be liberated by learning some new words, and the things of the Western world are nothing more than to give Chinese a new perspective to see and understand the world. But the world doesn't change because of the West's different perspectives. There is a truth in this world that does not change over time. Nor will it change with the way the truth is understood.
If any doctrine in the world only expounds on the problems of the times and is written against the background of the times, such doctrines will inevitably be eliminated with the progress of the times. In the history of Western philosophy, we can see that the history of Western philosophy is a discipline that develops in criticism, and the core of its discipline lies in understanding the times.
China's Yi Siwei tells people the fact that one yin and one yang are the Tao, and everything is inseparable from the way of yin and yang. The way of yin and yang is an eternal and unchanging law, and one of the basic theories of yin and yang is that if there is change, there must be no change. There must be an unchanging existence behind the changes of the times, and this unchanging existence is the foundation of all things in the universe.
The so-called study of truth must be the study of this unchanging existence. So one can criticize philosophy, but not God, because God does not change over time. The god of Western ** religion is the so-called heaven or God of Confucianism.
For human beings, the world that human beings perceive is constantly changing, and whether they can find the unchangeable and seek the unchanging truth is the pursuit of human beings. The Tao of Yin and Yang tells the world that there must be an unchanging existence, and the only unchanging existence is the way of heaven and human nature.
Therefore, in order to pursue the truth of mankind and emancipate the minds of mankind, it is possible to obtain the truth only if we have a correct understanding of the way of heaven and human nature. If there is no doctrine that systematically studies the way of heaven and human nature, how can it be possible to emancipate the mind, and it is just another fall into a new ideological trap.
In the human world, there is only one doctrine that studies the way of heaven and human nature, and has consistently applied to the entire Chinese civilization. This doctrine is the study of the Sacred Studies, also known as Confucianism, Confucianism, and Psychology. The name of this doctrine has been given different names according to the times, and these names have changed with the times, but the purpose of this doctrine has not changed since ancient times and today. The core purpose of this study is to guide people to pursue the eternal and unchanging avenue, to seek and understand the eternal and unchanging human nature. The ultimate goal of this study is the great harmony of the world, and this study is a doctrine for cultivating saints, and a doctrine that can enable people to achieve complete emancipation of their minds.
The ideological basis of sacred learning is that human nature is self-sufficient, and the purpose of learning is to seek self-sufficient wisdom and to know heaven with all one's heart. Seeking this wisdom lies in self-cultivation, so the sage said that from the Son of Heaven to the common people, one is based on self-cultivation.
Mr. Yang Ming said that the heart is reasonable, and the heart is unreasonable. The idea that people want to gain this heart is to emancipate their minds through continuous self-cultivation, not through discussion, and the ideological consensus that comes from discussion is just another ideology in the new era.
To sum up: the emancipation of the mind is not something that can be discussed, but something that can be practiced!
