Yesterday, the China Consumers Association released the 2024 Spring Festival Consumer Rights Protection Public Opinion Analysis Report, pointing out that the popularity of rights protection in transportation, scenic tourism, culture and entertainment, and consumer services is relatively high.
The China Consumers' Association used the Internet public opinion monitoring system to conduct an online big data public opinion analysis on the relevant consumer rights protection from February 9 to February 18. The analysis shows that during the 10-day monitoring period from February 9 to February 18, a total of 21575207 pieces of information related to "consumer rights protection" were collected, with an average of about 2.16 million pieces per day. During the monitoring period, a total of 1365014 pieces of "consumer rights protection" complaining information were monitored, accounting for 6% of the total information of "consumer rights protection".33%。
During this year's Spring Festival, the complaining information about "transportation and travel" topped the list, accounting for 30% of the complaining information28%, daily average 410,000 pieces. Monitoring shows that the peak occurred during the peak time of the return trip, reaching 760,000 pieces. The demand for travel during the Spring Festival holiday increased, and the supply and demand of train tickets and air tickets were unbalanced, and the fluctuations were obvious. Sanya, Hainan Province has caused heated discussions due to geography, weather and other reasons, and the problem of overcrowding of trains has reappeared.
In response to consumers' concentrated complaints about transportation, the China Consumers Association commented that during the Spring Festival this year, the phenomenon of tight transportation capacity appeared in many popular tourist cities such as Harbin and Hainan, especially Hainan. In addition to the objective reasons of the single mode of transportation out of the island, the insufficient allocation of routes and the need to optimize the management and guidance mode restrict the rapid flow of personnel. The "difficulty of leaving the island" in the peak season is not only a test of the local governance ability, but also puts forward higher requirements for the management mechanism of civil aviation, railways and ports. In addition, while reasonably increasing capacity, ticketing** supervision also needs to be strengthened.
In the face of capacity bottlenecks and congestion in scenic spots, relevant departments should carry out tourism planning in advance, guide tourists to disperse tourist destinations through publicity, and avoid overcrowding of popular scenic spots and routes.
