Dear readers,
Hello!
The Tao Te Ching contains a wealth of wisdom in life and has inspired countless future generations. As a researcher with a unique experience of the Tao Te Ching, today I would like to share the 12 words that I have realized in my own study and practice, and I hope you will remember these 12 words, which will surely help you to achieve change and live a smooth life.
The first word: "Shun". Adapting to nature is the greatest wisdom. Acting in defiance of the laws of nature is often in vain. Only by going with the flow can we be comfortable and get twice the result with half the effort. For example, if a person's personality and ability are different, he should be taught according to his aptitude and his bad habits. Don't force yourself to do something beyond your endowment.
The second word: "know". You have to know who you are and what you want to do, so that you don't get lost in life. Due to their lack of self-knowledge, many people blindly pursue fame and profit, and eventually become complacent and achieve nothing. Only by knowing one's own nature and understanding one's own strengths and shortcomings can one move forward steadily.
The third word: "foot". We must know how to be content and happy, and not to be insatiable. The world is often blinded by greed and never satisfied. As everyone knows, being content and happy is the foundation of happiness. As long as a person does his duty and lives life as it should be, it is enough. Why bother pursuing those false fame and profits, which are counterproductive?
The fourth word: "Qing". Keep an innocent heart, you don't need to be on the spot. Only by always being honest and honest can you win the trust of your family and friends. In life, being straightforward and honest can make your heart clear and gain good popularity.
The fifth word: "humility". We should all be humble so that we don't get complacent and go astray. Throughout life, many people have been narrow-minded and arrogant when they are flying for a while, but they often end up encountering Waterloo, losing their conscience, and making a big mistake in life. Only with humility in mind can we be peaceful and contented.
The sixth word: "pity". Cherish what you have now. Life is short, health is fleeting, and no longer is the time. If we don't know how to cherish the present moment and often sacrifice our health and opportunities to do something reckless, we will inevitably regret not doing it when we are old. Only by truly cherishing the present and grasping the things within our share can we truly be wise.
The seventh word: "caution". We must be cautious in all our actions, and we must not act rashly. Many people are young and vigorous, and they often do things without thinking, and the result is only endless troubles and regrets. The ancients said it well: "Think before you act". For every decision, we must first calmly consider the pros and cons, so that we do not act rashly and regret it.
The eighth word: "kindness". We must treat all things with a generous and benevolent heart. If you blindly look at everything in the world with a narrow-minded and paranoid mentality, you will eventually encounter isolation and helplessness. On the contrary, if you are in the company of others with fraternity and compassion, you will naturally receive the sincere love of those around you. Therefore, only by treating the world with selfless love and fraternity will we be able to accumulate great love and reap the happiness of life.
The ninth word: "goodness". We need to do more good deeds and make great connections. Zhou Dunyi, a Song man, said: "Quit killing and cherish the living, and the world will be safe; Blessed with goodness, primer fate. "When we do good deeds, we will surely receive good results and good rewards, and we will have a wide range of fate. On the other hand, if we are selfish and hurt nature, we will only cause and effect and lead to calamity. Therefore, we should do what we can to do as much good as we can, and this is true wisdom.
The tenth word: "stillness". It is necessary to meditate and concentrate from time to time, so that there can be wisdom in attainment. If you are always disturbed by the hustle and bustle, and your mind is uncertain, your actions will inevitably become a mess. But if you can always calm down and think, you will definitely be enlightened and let go of all doubts in your heart. The so-called "meditation is for the Tao", only meditation can have wisdom.
The eleventh word: "forbearance". In life, we must learn to be tolerant and tolerant. Be a human being, avoid blind stubbornness and bigotry. In many cases, tolerance and forbearance are the greatest wisdom. If you can endure, you will stop the dispute and stop the disaster, and if you take a step back, the sea and the sky will be broad. Excessive stubbornness often leads to the loss of both sides. Therefore, we must learn to be tolerant and tolerant, so that we can live a relaxed life.
The twelfth word: "respect". Be respectful of yourself, of others, and of things. A person who does not have respect cannot be respected by others. And only by truly respecting others can we win the respect and trust of others. Therefore, whether we treat our elders, peers or juniors, we must have a heart of respect, so that we can live in harmony and harvest a better life.
These 12 words are my deep understanding of the Tao Te Ching, and they are also my valuable experience in life practice. I hope you can remember these 12 words and let them become the compass of your life and lead you to a better and more harmonious life.
