In the 2024 Spring Festival, this "gadget" has been promoted and used in the four existing cable passenger stations of Bengbu Station.
It turned out that Yang Tao found in his work that the station platform bell switches were set in the middle of the platform. Previously, in order to ensure the work requirement of "the general speed train rings the bell 1 minute before the intermediate station starts", the platform staff must run back and forth on the platform and "pinch the point" to ring the bell, which not only consumes physical strength, but also may affect other ongoing platform operations.

Yang Tao pondered for three or four days, and began to transform the existing physical electric bell switch into a remote wireless remote control switch, and integrated the remote control of the seven platforms in the passenger workshop, one for each platform staff, which not only ensured the work needs of the platform to ring the bell on time, but also reduced the workload of the platform personnel.
Yang Tao's journey of invention began 10 years ago. When he was on duty in the passenger workshop of Bengbu Station, he often saw some passengers unconsciously walking to the end of both ends of the platform, which was very dangerous and could easily cause personal safety accidents. In order to eliminate the "safety blind spot" of the platform, Yang Tao bought solar panels, wires, controllers and other materials, and manually modified the diffuse reflection infrared warning device to prevent passengers from crossing the platform, and placed them at both ends of the platform in the passenger workshop. When a passenger approaches, the infrared system emits a voice prompt: "You have entered the danger zone. ”
