When he first chose to major in law after the college entrance examination, Li Jie didn't think too much, but just thought it was "interesting". On the one hand, curiosity drives her to know what kind of knowledge is accumulated in this ancient discipline, and on the other hand, law is closely related to the endless new problems in life, and the logical beauty of using legal thinking to solve problems strongly attracts her.
While studying law at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Li Jie devoted a lot of his spare time to debating competitions. In her view, debate is not simply a demonstration of oral expression ability, but also an external manifestation of a way of thinking, and the rich debate experience during college has brought Li Jie the habit of in-depth reading and logical thinking. When he was a freshman, Li Jie was named the "Best Debater" in the first World University Chinese Debate Competition, and in many international and domestic debate competitions since then, Li Jie frequently won the title of "Best Debater".
Courtroom debate is an important part of the daily performance of the prosecutor's duties, and his rich debate experience has undoubtedly written a footnote to Li Jie's destiny as a prosecutor in the future. Li Jie believes that the difference between a good debater and a good prosecutor is that as a debater, logical thinking comes first, and what is needed is rigorous argumentation and thinking under a preset position. As a prosecutor, the belief in fairness and justice comes first, and what is needed is the study and judgment of facts and evidence and the accurate application of the law. As a national prosecutor, the belief in fairness and justice in my work is to firmly believe that every word I say is grounded, that the examination of every evidence is rigorous, and that every application of the law is fully demonstrated, and this belief should run through every step of the work.
"Exploration" is the key word in her life

Social life and social problems that need to be solved are constantly updated, and relevant legal provisions are also constantly improving and changing, and engaging in law-related professions often needs to face new legal amendments, new judicial interpretations, new cases, new judicial concepts, etc., and the knowledge of public prosecutors is almost always in a state of constant updating, so it can be said that continuous study and research go hand in hand with procuratorial work.
After graduating, Li Jie's vigorous and inclusive charm of Shanghai attracted Li Jie, who had the courage to be the first, to the forefront of reform and opening up, and entered the Shanghai Pudong New Area Procuratorate. Starting as an assistant prosecutor, Li Jie has always insisted on being on the front line of case handling, and has participated in the handling of major and important cases with social influence, such as the "Zhongjin Department" illegal fundraising case. In the busy and compact case-handling work, Li Jie did not settle down with what he encountered, but always maintained the spirit of exploration.
In 2022, the Zhangjiang District People's Procuratorate of Pudong New Area (hereinafter referred to as "Zhangjiang Yuan") will adjust its functions, explore a new model of comprehensive performance of intellectual property procuratorial duties, take the lead in the country to realize the four-in-one centralized performance of intellectual property procuratorial functions, actively build a new model of intellectual property prosecution and protection that integrates "approval of arrest, prosecution, supervision, research, and prevention", implement the "one case and four investigations" case-handling mechanism, carry out "review of all elements of legal supervision", and simultaneously review whether there are criminal, civil, and Administrative supervision and other issues or clues, to determine whether there is damage to the public interest, and finally comprehensively select the best plan for legal supervision and intellectual property protection. In the same year, Li Jie entered the Zhangjiang People's Court to engage in intellectual property prosecution work, and in this new case-handling mechanism, she has continuously sharpened her "all-rounder" in intellectual property prosecution. She participated in the city's first case of public interest protection of geographical indications in the form of civil support for prosecution, "Nanhui 8424 Watermelon Geographical Indication Protection Case", which was rated as one of the top ten cases of intellectual property protection in the service business environment of Shanghai procuratorate, and was reported by CCTV, Justice Network and many other ** cases.
In terms of theoretical research, Li Jie has never stopped. She has participated in the research group of "Research on the Expansion of Criminal Expedited Cases" and the "Research on the Plea Leniency System" of the National Prosecutors College, and has produced a number of research reports and theoretical results, which have been published in journals such as "Theoretical Research" and "Shanghai Procuratorial Research". Completed the project of "Research on the Limits of Criminal Legislation for the Prevention of Sexual Crimes" of the National Prosecutors College, and participated in the compilation and publication of the "Compilation of Laws and Regulations on Ordinary Crime Prosecution" in Shanghai.

As a result, she organized more than 30 young cadres and police officers from 9 business departments of the whole court to form a full coverage of the four major procuratorates of criminal, civil, administrative, and public interest litigation"Youth Rule of Law Publicity Group"., organize and classify the content of the propaganda with more demand, and form a course package like a "menu", when enterprises and other units have a need for law popularization, they can provide them with a "la carte" law popularization lecture. At the same time, she also carried out compliance management issues that are of general concern to enterprisesSpecial activity of "Enterprise Compliance into Enterprises"., contributing to the construction of the business environment in Pudong New Area.
League work is an important link in uniting young people and strengthening talent training.
