Hydrogen Future Network learned that the first batch of hydrogen fuel port tractors jointly developed by Zhangjiagang Port Group, Huachang Energy and Anhui were put into use on February 4, which is an important step for Zhangjiagang in the layout of hydrogen energy ports.

In the warehouse of the port branch of Zhangjiagang Port Group, five hydrogen fuel port tractors are neatly arranged, spectacular and eye-catching. These vehicles are 3 long8 meters, 2 meters wide and 3 meters high, it is a non-road mobile machinery, mainly used for horizontal transportation of general cargo in the port area. Despite its small size, the vehicle has a strong traction capacity, with a maximum towing capacity of 60 tons, which is almost twice that of a regular semi-trailer.

These tractors are equipped with 80kW hydrogen fuel cells produced by Suzhou Huachang Energy Technology *** and 3 130L hydrogen storage bottles manufactured by Guofu Hydrogen Energy. When the hydrogen cylinder is full, the vehicle can run continuously for no less than 8 hours. At the same time, the noise of the whole vehicle is low, the operation is comfortable, the vehicle emission is only pure water, and the one-key automatic drainage design is adopted, which realizes zero pollution and zero carbon emissions.

In the context of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality", the port group has taken a variety of measures to promote the construction of green ports. They have innovated and renovated 77 sets of fuel-fired port operating machinery with a long service life and substandard emissions, and built 6 sets of inverter shore power systems and 36 sets of mains shore power supply boxes. In addition, they have built 42 MW rooftop photovoltaic power station with an annual power generation capacity of 4.6 million kWh.

The smooth operation of the first batch of hydrogen-fueled port tractors developed this time will further promote the green transformation and development of the port.
