The Jingxi Ice and Snow Carnival focuses on the colorful waterfront, Gushan Village, Shenquan Gorge, Baipu Yunjing in the northern area of Mentougou and the Tangu Slow Flash Park in the southern area, gathering new forms and scenes of cultural tourism such as scenic spots, homestays, and online celebrity check-in places, and releasing 4 winter ice and snow boutique routes.
Gushan Village held the 5th Ice and Snow Festival, where tourists can taste the granary banquet of the brigade headquarters, stay in the hometown and stay in Gushan people's homestays, experience the intangible cultural heritage performance of rural entertainment, and celebrate the Ice and Snow Festival with the villagers. The whale-themed New Year's event at White Waterfall invites visitors to carry out different ice and snow projects such as ice fishing, curling, and ice cars on the surface of the lake that resembles whales.
Relying on the "No. 1 Ice Waterfall in Western Beijing", Shenquan Gorge Scenic Area carries out activities of watching ice waterfalls during the day and ice lanterns at night, and extends business hours. The ice and snow park in Tangu Slow Flash Park has a valley ice rink, snow tube slide, a tea bubble house around the hearth, and a valley wishing tree. In the ice and snow park on the waterfront, there are professional ski slopes, snow tubes, ice bumper cars, naked-eye 3D immersive fantasy space and experience projects such as markets, food, amusement, and tours, so that the public can experience the collision of ice and snow and intangible cultural heritage art.
