Amelia Mary Earhart (July 24, 1897 – July 2, 1937) was a famous American female pilot and feminist, who set a number of flight records during her lifetime, leaving glorious footprints in the history of American aviation, and was known as the "Queen of the Air". She was as famous around the world as Jordan today, and her mysterious disappearance in 1937 while flying around the world over the Pacific became one of the most intractable mysteries of the 20th century, and continues to attract the attention of many today.

In 1937 she began to fly around the world in a planned way. She flew from Oakland, Calif., to Honolulu on March 17 in a Lockheed 10-E Electra. Due to the malfunction, the plane was badly damaged, the flight plan was cancelled, and the plane was shipped back to Burbank for repairs. While the plane was being repaired, Earhart received additional donations and was ready to try round-the-world flights again. Earhart first flew from Oakland to Miami before announcing in Miami that she would continue to fly around the globe.

Noonan is the only random navigator in Earhart. They departed from Miami on June 1 and arrived at Lae City, New Guinea, on June 29, 1937, after numerous stops in South America, Africa, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. So far, they have flown a total of 35,000 kilometers, and the remaining 11,000 kilometers have been across the Pacific Ocean. After resting and refueling in Lae, Earhart flew out of Lae on July 2 and flew to Howland Island, more than 4,100 kilometers away, about 3,100 kilometers from Hawaii and between Hawaii and Australia. However, as he approached Howland Island, Earhart lost contact with the USCGC Itasca, a Coast Guard that was being picked up at sea, and eventually disappeared. Upon learning of Earhart's disappearance, Roosevelt** ordered the launch of the largest and most expensive maritime search and rescue operation at the time, with the USS Lexington and the USS Colorado joining the search and rescue operation, searching the 390,000 square kilometers of sea around Howland Island, but ultimately finding nothing.

Since Earhart's disappearance, many people are still tirelessly hoping to solve the mystery, published a large number of **, books, various institutions, organizations, and individuals have repeatedly used modern technology to search for the missing sea area, and some people claim to have found conclusive evidence, but so far there is no real answer to the mystery that can be completely unraveled. This mystery has been haunting people for a long time.

Recently, a New York-based deep-sea exploration company announced that it had successfully used sonar technology to find the wreckage of a plane suspected to be piloted by Earhart in the waters near Howland, located in a flat area at a depth of 5,000 meters. They plan to photograph and assess the wreckage in the near future, and whether it will eventually be salvaged from the water. Perhaps this famous mystery of the disappearance of the plane is not far from being completely revealed.

There is a 2009 film called "Amelia" that tells the story of Amelia's legendary experience, in addition to her achievements in the aviation industry, as well as her relationship with George PPutnam's love and marriage, and his emotional entanglement with Gene Vidal, etc.

Amelia is played by Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank, who looks quite similar to Amelia in the past, and is also very familiar with Amelia's anecdotes and life stories. Golden Globe winner Richard Gere plays Amelia's husband, George Putinam.

British actor Ewan McGregor appears in the film as Gene Vidal, who had a brief romance with Amelia. The movie is pretty good. These actors are all very familiar to everyone. Does Richard Gere remember that when he was younger, his hair was red, or his face was ruddy? Hilary Swank isn't pretty, but the acting is still there.

List of Quality Authors Amelia once said: "I want to be free, and that's what I fly for......I want to change the world, life is not just a passing ......I'm going to fly around the world, even if I know I can't do it......Her life is the interpretation and portrayal of this passage. In that era of male domination, it was not easy to become such a female pilot who did not let her eyebrows go. The world will always remember her groundbreaking achievements in the field of aviation, and miss this heroine who loves to fly but has returned to the blue sky!
