The person who can bring benefits is your friend, and the person who harms your interests is your enemy. To analyze the relationship between friend and foe in this way, there are no eternal friends, only eternal interests. When interests are transformed, your enemies and friends will change quickly.

Similarly, in a company, each role needs to analyze whose interests are in line with and whose interests are being harmed. Those who are in line with their interests will inevitably form a community of interests, while those who are in the interests of those who are in the interests will form an alliance of interests. However, both camps will fly under the moral banner of the first set of rules to fight for the interests of the second set of rules, and everyone should remember not to use the principles of the first set of rules to blackmail others to complete the second set of rules. I've often come across instances where many people approach you, even though they have a clear purpose and know what they want, but they never think about what they can bring to others. Before you want to get the benefits of others, you must first think about what you can bring to others, whether your own benefits meet the needs of others, and whether they are unique.

If the interests of the second set of rules are not established, then you can only build on the moral relationship of the first set of rules, and the other party is only dealing with it with false feelings. No matter how society develops, the selfishness of human beings will not change, and interests are the most important logic that drives people's behavior. However, it is important to note that once the purpose is deduced from the second set of rules, it should be immediately wrapped in the first set of rules, put on the cloak of morality, and remember not to talk about interests nakedly, because the second set of rules cannot be said publicly. And the value of the first set of rules is precisely to help you better disguise your true purpose. However, the truth that keeps the world going is the second set of rules. The first set of rules is more like a politeness between two people, just like we sometimes chat with people, knowing that each other is talking empty words, knowing that the other party is telling lies, but still serious about each other's politeness, which forms the first set of rules, no matter how human beings develop, they need to pursue the first set of rules as a guideline, respect morality, so as to make people look less utilitarian, even if the truth is more realistic than reality, because beauty, hope and positive energy can better promote progress.

As a result, Confucianism has dominated society for thousands of years and is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. We should always advocate and speak out. Guiguzi, who was about the same time as Confucius, had a wise mind, but why couldn't he be as widely known as Confucius? Because his theory speaks of a second set of rules, which are only suitable for silent application, not for public publication. There is a good saying that true maturity is to see through but not to say thoroughly, referring to the second set of rules, which can only be retained, never spoken. This is also why many people like to tell the truth, which is really unpopular, sometimes what the public needs is not the truth, but an idealized satisfaction, or a kind of emotional sustenance, although this idealized feeling is far from reality. In this world, the truth-teller often looks like a villain, while the lyar-teller disguises himself like a gentleman.
